    Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future.

    From an outside perspective, the term "data analyst" seems hella involved and complicated, but an inside look (along with the course I'm taking) just seems like data analysis is investigative skills, paying attention to detail and making logical connections with the data you have. As a naturally analytical person, I feel like data analysis should have been my calling in life.. It still may be, we'll see.

    I will fight the productivity community on this one: You can wake up late and STILL be productive. I don't care if it's not glamorous, waking up at 8:30-9 is what works for ME. I'm so glad that I see another productive person who wakes up at a reasonable time.

    I am a data analyst myself but this guy's daily routine seems to be much better than mine. I wake up at 8 to 9 or even 9:30 am if working from home and then run straight to my office run and jump on the laptop/desktop. Play around couple of excle sheets, check emails and do daily call. Then when it is time for Python code, I just run the code which can take many minutes and during that time I just watch KZread vidoes. Then take many breaks to watch more KZread videos. Lol, I am being honest!

    I work for an online accounting software company, clients always blame the dashboard when their data does not display correctly for something that does not work as it should e.g. a dropdown does not work. 95% of the time it turns out that their browser is causing the issue. I even had clients who have raged over the phone at me demanding that the fault be escalated to the developers and senior engineers because they are 100% sure the product is faulty after I convince them to clear cache and cookies and update or change their crap browser to a better one, the issue is suddenly gone and everything is working as it should.

    @@Stefanovic92 Just checked it out! I saw I was on the right track since you mentioned first learning excel -> then PowerBi (given that it's a stack). I think after I learn the ins and outs of those two, I'll move onto Python. I really appreciate the content, looking forward to the next video!

    I'm almost 40, have two kids under five and I'm looking at changing careers. My current job is very communications based, with little software knowledge other than adobe creative suite. What are the obstacles or downsides to someone trying to get into data analytics later on in life?

  • @Stefanovic92

    @Stefanovic92

    2 жыл бұрын

    Same as making any career switch later in life basically. You just need to get work experience in order to get a job. So try to pick up data analytics tasks at your current job. See if you can switch to a more data analytic job at your current company. Do some courses, get experience and then go for a true data analytics switch

    Legitimate question. I work as a Data Analyst as well. How often do you find yourself with free time during the workday. I find that as long as my tickets are completed on time I can kind of do whatever. Maybe it's just cause it is an associate level position. But I do take the time to brush up and learn new skills.

  • @Stefanovic92

    That's the problem for getting paid for your input (amount of hours) rather than your output (value you provide). As long as you provide the value they expect, or more, it should not matter how much hours you've put in, and what you do with your free hours
