I had not expected a small town cobbler to do so well, with such a nice car and such a beautiful house. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not calling you bougie, or think you’re being a show-off. Cobbler is about as honest a job as it gets. You must have worked very hard to get where you are, good for you!

For someone who didn't dream of being a cobbler you have turned into a damned fine one. Loved the way you just peeled that rubber sole down.
What a Genuine person. Enjoy seeing people doing there passion and working hard with a smile on there dial. So good to see good workmanship with one using there hands. Would be interesting to hear your story some time must of taken you years to learn your trade. Your a good oak boet.
I am a red-white-n-blue bleeding American that has been building American muscle cars with my father since i was 5; 35 now, and i just gotta say i love the joy you find in your craft. I try to muster that in people i interact with. People here in America are often left speechless when i always tell them i will show them how to work on their own cars (usually a mechanic will be known to try and take you through the ringers for your wallet and your first born). It's just a great show of heart for people to express love for their craft and pass on your knowledge of your trade to others. Please keep this up, you're a lighthouse in a dark grim world! New subscriber and i'll be trying my own boot repairs once i feel i've got enough of your jedi teachings under my belt.
Man, a video like this will be what truly helps someone realize their own dreams and aspirations, because it's exactly as advertised... it's real! Your enthusiasm for life is obvious, your smile is infectious, and your attitude is undaunted!! I'm sure it can be hard to wear a smile though the hardest of the work, but I can genuinely say I've never wished success for someone more than you... you are truly deserving of admiration!!!
Thank you for the good video Dan, been watching you for about a month and probably got through all your videos now. Your work is of great quality and keep the videos coming 🙂

You're an absolute inspiration. I've shopped a ton of "cobblers" in my area, and none of the old goats can do more than half-sole repairs. I don't trust them with any of my dress shoes, a collection I'm quite proud of. Your dedication to pretty much everything you touch throughout your day is awesome to see. You honor the craft put into shoes by matching, and often times improving, the original work. I am absolutely in awe of people such as yourself who fight against the disposable society we seem to have found ourselves in. Add to that the care you put into your own lifestyle, you are an absolute role model for people who want to make sense of this world and find purpose, happiness and health, the wealth comes along with mastery. Crack on, keep up the good work. Also, if you take the time to respond to this, I'd love to hear some of your top picks for men's dress shoes. I've got a pretty high-end taste, so feel free to go with your grails, the shoes you're most impressed by.
You show that you are very passionate about what you do. Always great to see. Keep the grind!
I want to buy a shirt from your store that says “Let’s Get Sticky!”
This was so highly requested! Thx!
Thanx Dan, Tring is such a charming town, so glad you fit the gym in with your work- that’s awesome! You show us that being a cobbler can always be a good profession if done well, 🥰
I admire people who are passionate and excellent with their work. Whether it's a chef, artist, or shoe repair, there's a deep appreciation and journey of one's craft that only the disciples of the craft understand.
This guy just vibes the kind of guy that one could easily befriend and enjoy conversation with especially being so young still... I mean this in a sincere way.. you get to an age (I'm 52 now) and it's just hard to find people you want to spend time talking to and who have the kind of energy that brings you up... I can see us being friends if I lived in his town in the UK..
USA.here.....very interesting , it’s amazing how much equipment is needed for your business ! I can see the time and space that’s saved by multiple heads on most of your machines ! Here there isn’t many cobblers left , you know the American way , use it wear it out, and toss it ! I enjoy all your vids especially the military boots .I served here 68 / 72. , but never saw parade boots like yours . Thanks again , I’ll be watching for more !
It was awesome to see a day in the life of Dan. It's quite inspiring to see just how much work there is in the life of a cobbler. Such an artisan craft, you're clearly a master of your craft. Great job mate!
Great stuff Dan you got a Nack for this kind of thing! Love the workout vlogs I do my own weight training and its good to stay focused and energized and seeing others doing it helps me keep going!
