    Saloni, thank you so much for creating this youtube channel!!! I am a Latina in the U.S., and I've recently started considering applying to colleges with an interest in biomedical engineering. You said in the video that your goal was to give viewers motivation, well you have done JUST THAT!!! I feel so much better seeing a women in STEM so genuinely excited about her job and about life. While I'm sure not everyday is perfect like you said, this video brought a smile to my face so thank you

  • @Brickswol

    @Brickswol

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@shahna1291 Yes. What I mean is that, in the US, after high school, I would have to got through university (4 years), medical school (4 more years) and then a residency (3-7 years, would have been at least 4 for me because I wanted surgery). That's minimum 12 years assuming everything goes right. In the engineering field, all you need is a bachelor's degree (4 or 5 years usually) to get out there and start earning a greater than average salary. Also, update on this while I'm here: At the time of writing the original comment I was an aerospace engineering major and I was only thinking of changing to biomedical, I did not change and I've decided I'm definitely sticking with aerospace engineering bc I'm enjoying the challenge.

    I like talking to myself... Because I feel like I've seen times when I was lonely and was afraid of approaching people to talk and at that time it was very helpful. So I can't really miss it because it happens spontaneously and I do it. Other than that I really think like when I process things in my mind and at that point this approach of discussion helps me to reach a conclusion. #crazymedusa "Talk to yourself once atleast once in a day otherwise you'll miss a meeting with an EXCELLENT person in this World."
