I loved joining you virtually in your day. You kept me company while I was knitting too! I'm so glad to hear you speak up about mental health and taking the time to take care of ourselves that way. I work as a victim's advocate and I often encourage people to develop these kind of conscious self care routines. It's such a huge part of healing! It's also a huge part of how I handle the emotional burdens of my own life and the ones that come with my career. Keep on knitting!

I'm not usually that keen on vlogs but I loved it! You're so engaging and it was really well-edited. The music fit so well with the different segments, too. I got a real sense of what your days consist of. It's a while since my children were little (the youngest is in his final year of school) and it was lovely to be reminded of those days.

Thanks for your vlog today, it keeps me good company while I'm trying to knit and look after my toddler who refuses to take a nap at the same time as his sister... I have the exact same issue with interchangeable needles, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I always thought it was connected to me being lefthanded and maybe twisting the needle in a funny way or something like that. So it's good to see that I'm not the only one with that problem. ;)

What a fun change of pace. I love your podcast with all the knitting content but this was such a fun way to get to know you a little better. I loved the sketch book for your husband. Sort of a creative journal!

thank you for sharing your life with us. i loved seeing your house- so open and modern. your hubby is lucky you worry so much about his socks. i am sure even a day late would be ok. i love the idea of you painting en plein aire with him- that would be great. you can always paint/sketch little patterns for colorwork socks and such-- so much in nature for shapes and color combinations. you really make me want to knit socks but i am on a mission with sewing and crochet xmas gifts right now- so i just have to wait. take care of yourself too. i agree about knitting a dress like that. maybe a sleeveless one for summer- i saw lovely halter type dresses i plan to make for my niece in maybe next year in cotton/bamboo yarn...... see!!-- i have to stop planning more projects!! yikes!!!

I'm currently working on a tunic (which I'm going to wear like a dress) and I'm knitting it at a big gauge but in the lightest yarn possible - Katia Concept Cotton-Merino. I thoroughly enjoyed your vlog Laura. What a beautiful home you have. I love your little area with the kettle and toaster where you can close the door!👍🏻Don’t your little ones look all cosy in your their Christmas pyjamas. Aww! My two granddaughters come overnight every Friday ( sisters 5 & 6) I’ve had them since they were about six weeks old and I know they’ve got new Christmas pyjamas tonight and some for Dede ( grandad) too.
