The first day back from any break can be a challenge. It is funny how students "forget" how to do school for some strange reason. Add to that a (almost) total eclipse, and you have a day to remember.
Because we were close to the path of totality, many kids did not come to school, opting to travel 2 hours to see the total eclipse. I would have joined them if I was able!!!
