I recently transferred to a community college because i was at a state university and i just wasn’t doing well. Thing is, in my town, so many kids and teachers hyped up state colleges and universities so much that it made me feel like if you go to a community college, you’re dumb. So being transferred from such a popularly known (and expensive as hell) university, i felt stupid and embarrassed. But after just three days of classes, i’ve learned more and a lot better here than in the university before. People are extremely wrong about looking down on community colleges and they really shouldn’t. It’s a great way to learn at any day and age with amazing professors and practicians. Currently going for my Bachelor’s in Criminology! ( two years in cc and two more in regular university/college)

I flunked out of a $40k school so my parents sent me to Community college and I graduated with a 3.8 gpa. I transferred to NYU in the city and I graduate next year in pretty good shape. Community colleges is were everyone should go before the real deal.

Hey Maya, I'm an IB student and I used to struggle a lot with tests. I discovered a new method of studying and it has literally saved my grades. So what I do is I begin studying the information the day I learn it. Each day I'll review more as I learn more and that way, I won't have to cram the night before the test/quiz because i already know so much of the information. It's hard to force myself to do it everyday but it really does help, I think you should try it! Hope this helps 💗

I attended community college for two years and am now attending a university.

Community college is basically just a high school , except a majority of the students are 20+ , you usually only go to school for a couple hours, and it’s $200 a class.

I should’ve went to a community college... I’m currently in my first year at university. I decided not to go to a community college because people were like “sometimes when transferring from a community college to your university of choice, sometimes your credits doesn’t transfer” I was low key scared of that because I wasn’t trying to repeat multiple classes and having to waste money all over again.

Even though I’m currently in state university, I love seeing community college being represented. It’s more realistic
