    It’s cool to se her driving a mixer but who ever showed her a routine messed up the pre trip after she got loaded, the washing how of the hopper at the job and not checkin be your mud and relying on a slump gauge was kinda crazy but to each there own

    I also work in ready mix. You are WAY more careful and considerate of your equipment than my co-workers are. I see them do stuff like slam the chutes, slam on the brakes when backing into the loadout, just hard on the trucks... and we run relatively late model trucks and they're wondering why stuff always breaks. Good job taking great care of your truck and job!

    Yeah, I oiled my seat in the semi at the end of one day, it took about 4 minutes to locate and eliminate the squeaky. The next day the boss was questioning my finish work time so I told him what I did... He yells "You're not a mechanic, don't be fixing things!". I replied that one more 12 hour night with that seat and I wouldn't be a driver either.

    Man all these comments I see is nothing but positivity.. normal construction worker.. put boots on cold weather or hot. get to the job site and work.. pour it do the details and finish the floor. Or broom it.. from guys that work or have worked in this.. from being a dude that worked in super hard labor.. seeing this chick do it all.. arrive on time learn and adapt.. clean cloths when she arrives and clean clothes when she goes home... Ask permission when needed.... Am 23.. since the age of 15 I got out into this construction stuff.. but things went left with the past crew and boss... Now with 2 yr working with someone new.. it's nice better money.. but it isn't stable.. compared to this.. looks more rewarding to do your task.. and know your helping not only yourself but communication with bosses.. people that have the money to do things they like.. and just have fun.. are you able to get time off? To hop off and get a month break.. not within a yr.. but after a good while... Knowing your responsible at work no fights. And just making job easier for everyone.. deserves the right to have that break..

Did a lot of conveyer and pump work here in the big city of Chicago have fun stay safe and have a great Christmas 😊

    As a commercial driver for over 36 years and last 5 years a ready mix driver, the only thing I saw wrong was how she got out of the of the cab. I guess I was taught different. I would always rinse the hopper and fins before leaving the plant. Keep on trucking.

  • @tpuppy4224
    @tpuppy42247 ай бұрын

    I’m very impressed with your ability in handling a concrete truck. I noticed when you were adding H20 to the mix you didn’t wash the hopper before leaving the plant, is that common practice in California? I must give you two thumbs up for driving that manual Beast, and to be truthful I’m very jealous of you for being able to have a manual truck because I HEART those Dinosaurs because you much better control over your truck. Marin- Marietta switched to all automatic trucks and HATE it with a passion; however today’s young drivers can’t shift without burning up the clutch and that’s a freaking shame. Be very careful and please be safe and take your time because folks that never operated a cement truck haven’t a clue to how hazardous they are and can be on certain jobs. Keep grinding and make your money because there’s not a lot of people that’s willing to do what you’re doing because it takes courage and guts and sacrificing to ride in the driver’s seat working those crazy hours.

    @@Hayabusa-ll7fo Well aren't you special. Here's how it is outside that little piece of ground called Pittsburgh. Here in Western Canada construction slows down in winter. In the big city of 1 million 50 miles away, they are carrying on right now and are fairly busy. Of course hoarding and heating costs money, but allows things to move along. I live away from that rat race and was operating for a small rural local plant. A whole other scene. Tomorrow I start hauling grain with a set of b doubles, both local and long haul. No downtime here. So I'll just go for a drive, while you keep washing up son. Enjoy :=)
