I think that the Castform one is pretty accurate. The water cycle is basically when the sun evaporates the water to be turned into clouds and then, it ends up falling as rain. The sun form may represent the sun evaporating water, the water form is the rain and the ice form is a gimmick to the possibility of the water falling as hail instead of rain (obviousy with cold temperatures). I don't know if i explained myself well. Hope it helps.

And yes the sun also heats up the earth causing winds due to high and low pressure areas, this is how sandstorms are created of course. However. Being based around a water molecule in shape, known for being a pokemon that has a cellular structure similar to water should indicate it reacts to temperature differences and humidity like one would expect from water. Heat causes it to become warm, rain causes it to grow in size, while hail causes it to freeze over. The sun plays an important role in the water cycle, and they couldn't really make a vapor form, since that would in essence cause people to wonder why it isn't just fire type, or why it has two water type forms, or why water vapor is a fire type. Sand simply has no place in the water cycle: The entire premise of the pokemon. In fact, dust and sand storms are washed out of the atmosphere by humidity, rain, and since castform's body is similar to water. I have reason to believe sand particles simply don't mix with its body in any way.

Castform is partially based on tiny plushies Japanese kids put in their windows wishing for a nice weather the next day (Teru teru bozu). Castform has a rain form and a hail form because kids use those things to prevent hail (yeah) and rain, and a sun form because kids wish for sunny days. A sandstorm form wouldn’t make sense as there are no sandstorms in Japanese cities.

Sun for evaporation, hail for snow precipitation, and rain for precipitation more (haven’t been taught this in a while, it’s a little murky). Sand does not okay a part in the water cycle

Also honey bees are bad for the environment, because they are invasive species and kill other pollinators, wasps are good though because they help keep pests in check.

The sun form Castform is for evaporation, the only thing i could think of getting even close to a sunny day form otherwise would be him floating higher in his idle animation, because no one wants to see a Pokemon go to circular bits and float away. Water is not in sand, which is why it has no sandstorm form.

the water cycle and how castform is based on a water molecule: first, rain comes down (rainy form) second, the water makes puddles (regular form) and third, the water evaporates into the air (with help from the sun) and forms cark clouds (sun form) then it starts all over again

for anyone who doesn’t understand it, by the way, i believe it was supposed to call them simple-minded or something. but yes, it’s very funny now. hope it’s in bdsp.

Also i saved a bee from drowning in the ocean and did the same procedure but sadly once it could fly it stung me and later dropped dead and i feel guilty for it🙁. My point is that wasps and bees do not always go too their stereotypes
