Don’t think it’s required. Bucket Policies are an alternative to ACLs. If you add the permissions in the policy that should suffice.

@AbhishekVeeramalla i thought you would give the feedback to the aws bill, I followed your same steps till now and now it costs me around 500 for one month, but you said nothing will be charged when following your steps, and also I did termianted each instances after the sessions

Main Idea about AWS S3: - S3 is a scalable storage solution on AWS, catering to individuals and organizations for various data storage needs. - S3 objects are globally accessible via HTTP, ensuring accessibility from anywhere in the world. - AWS guarantees high reliability with 99.9999% durability for S3, coupled with default object encryption for enhanced security. - DevOps engineers can efficiently manage S3 buckets, configuring settings for optimal performance and security. - AWS S3 offers advantages like high availability, scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, and performance enhancements. - Security features include encryption, access control, object locking, and access logging for auditing purposes. - S3 provides various storage classes catering to different needs, balancing cost-effectiveness and access time. - Bucket permissions and policies allow fine-grained access control, enhancing security for sensitive data in S3 buckets.

A small correction is required when you want to give bucket permission to a specific IAM user in AWS account. Condition should be ""aws:PrincipalArn": "arn:aws:iam::AWS_ACCOUNT_ID:user/USERNAME"" In example, it's given as "aws:PrincipalArn": "arn:aws:iam::AWS_ACCOUNT_ID:root"

I have doubt sir if i create a s3 bucket and if i store a 5mb of object size for 1 hour and after 1 hour if i delete that object and delete bucket on that day itself will i get charged .?

creating policies seems a bit weird for now, does not seem difficult at all but it needs more practice. documentation might help i guess.

Hi Abhi Bro, Thank you for the S3 bucket demo on AWS Zero to Hero series , I think the file for Day-9 on github on your repo - main branch , does not have the JSON completed with the exception condition . so it was blocking everything even for root user . Can you please add the condition for the existing JSON for S3 bucket . "Condition": { "StringNotEquals": { "aws:PrincipalArn": "arn:aws:iam:::root" }
