It’s the journey. The people you meet, conversations you have, the steps you take, the sunrise 🌅 and sunset 🌅 you see and the smells you encounter and so much more. Thank you for sharing.!

“The AT is stupid in a good way” may be the best description of thru hiking that I have ever heard! Hike on Jess! 😊

Yup! Stupid. And not too serious. On my hike in 22, at trail days I spoke with Darwin, and complimented him on his amazing accomplishments. He put everything in perspective by saying “it’s just walking “. I held on to that when things got tough and continued to “just walk” all the way to Katahdin. Rock on Sassafras!

I’m impressed- tackling the Dragons Tooth climb takes a special kind of bravery/ craziness that is a,moment that we will all remember, so glad to have witnessed this The insightful explanation was really nicely put- this is great stuff! You guys are fearless when it comes to heights 😂❤ that is just wild- yes I agree my brother! 🌿🌱🧘🏼🙏

What a great video. Wonderful advice about not taking life so serious and being able to laugh at yourself. Thanks for the amazing views. The views of trail are only second to your smile.😊

The A.T. is a journey into the self. When you stand on top of Katahdin and look back, you will realize you will never look at things the same way again. Hike safe and good luck. Zhivago

I've watched all of your videos, and I think this is the best one yet. Not only epic scenes, particularly at the end, but your words of wisdom were both well-expressed and very insightful. For now, the AT is the field y'all are playing on, so... you better continue to play as well as you can. I hope only for your continued strength and safety, in doing what you're doing, and the same for the tramily as well. Enjoy it every step of the way. Jack NYC

The most stupid thing about the trail is that it's only 1100 miles from Springer to Katahdin as the crow flies. Those PUDS really add up. 😆 It's the worst best thing you'll likely ever do. I hate it and can't wait to get back on trail.

Take life seriously. Keep it in perspective. Can't live for the short term or only the moment. When you become a senior, you'll realize the fruit of your efforts.
