I love the kayak guy! It looks so peaceful out there that I don’t blame him for wanting to be on the water every day! So hard to hear about the conditions in the camps...but harder to hear that helping another human by giving them supplies could be a crime. How incredibly sad. I wish our status as citizens of the world was more important than our status as citizens of the country we were born into.

Hello my sweet! It is hard not to be sad when you see treatment like this. And the continued governmental decisions to makes things even worse. I have seen it myself first hand as I have been to Calais many times. And yes! The eating part is much easier this year. I guess I am just getting better at it! Have a lovely day today 🌷🙏🥰

Carl - you said it. Fall is the perfect time for it. So is Christmas. Of course spring is lovely and fresh, also great. And nothing like sitting on the beach watching the sun go down ... ok. Beautiful video again. And I thought the US was bad harassing those that placed water along the US border crossing areas for those trying to cross the US. Mexican border. Shame on the French for making it illegal to provide basic food and essentials to those refugees in Calais. We need more love and compassion. So much can get accomplished through cooperation and the true search for solutions. Be well. 2 more days to 🍷

Maryanne!! You are so sweet! Yes, it is terrible for sure. It is made worse because the American Mexican border is mainly an immigration issue. These people are refugees unable to return to their home country. Thank you so so much for your support this week. It really has meant the world 🙏🌷🥰🍷

Wow this video hit hard. You really make them so special. I can see how important this is to you just by the amount of effort that goes into it. So sorry for all the people. The food looked nice at least. Some garlic makes a huge difference.

I bet these are late night edits and to do it daily is crazy. Takes me a few days to edit our videos. You do an amazing job telling the story of the hardship. The story about the Jungle is so sad. Crazy government is saying no to providing essentials.

It is definitely a challenge. And been having issues with PPro. Adobe was inside my computer for a while today 🙄 I am the same. Takes me about three days to do a video too. It feels good to know I am not the only one 😂.

I live near a port in u.k and its so sad to see what is happening 😢 but as citizens we have no control over our government who do not speak for its caring people

It truly is sad, Wayne. You are right - once a party is in power we have little control. But we do control our vote. We can put pressure on politicians. We can fight discrimination in the courts. But it is hard, it is a struggle and it takes time. Hope you and your family are safe and doing well 🙏🌷🥰🍷

And mine. I can tell you here that I didn’t even go into the real horrors. You may have noticed there were no young women in the clips. It is much, much worse than I portrayed. I gave a highly sanitized version. I was going to Calais at the end of March to volunteer in the Refugee Kitchen ... that was going to be my 2020 footage ... but obviously plans had to change. It is very hard to even comprehend. But we have to keep strong 💪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🙏🌷🍷🍷🍷

Karen Luuk sounds like the ICE camps here at the Mexican border. All of this mistreatment of other humans is beyond my comprehension. I don’t understand why people feel like it’s ok to treat people in such a way. I’m sorry that your trip plans had to change. Hopefully next year!

I am in pretty regular contact with them. A few months ago, they could only accept people that could volunteer a minimum of a month. Clearly I couldn't do that. But just got an email that they can now accept shorter times. And then the quarantine rules have made it impossible. So just waiting for them to lift. I have a lovely AirBNB that I stay at, on the beach (of course), and my little folding bike just takes me right there. I can hardly wait x
