DAY 32 & 33: Exploring Banjo, Gambia: A Day of Culture, Food, and Adventures
Join me on an exciting day in Banjo, Gambia, as I wake up early to capture the vibrant morning life in the capital city. From tasting hot Akara to enjoying a colourful breakfast, the local culture shines through.
I talk about my time in Senegal, visiting a car wash, and the challenges of travelling in the Gambia heat. We also take a trip to a news show, shop at the local mall, and indulge in a satisfying meal at a Nigerian Amala joint.
Witness the beauty of Gambia's beaches and the joy of connecting with locals. Don't miss out on this incredible experience!

I am glad you had a wonderful visit to The Gambia. It is definitely a great place to relax and recharge. I love Gulliver ice cream bars! The egusi soup at Buka is very good. Also, the supermarket located in the Tropic mall is super expensive. There are plenty of supermarket stores around. There was one across the street from the Tropic mall located in The Village. Also, next time you are in The Gambia and need dental floss go any Right Choice supermarket. I have found it there. Thank you for showing us your journey!!

And the restaurant after all its own name - Buka. Reminds me of my lunch breaks in the buka round the corner from the UTA office on Davies street Lagos. Way back '80's!!
