Today is a little over 30 days since Sydney decided to start her loc journey. Well we have been researching the best way to maintain starter locs and best starter loc tips. Through all the tips and research I realized that hair is definitely individualized. You have to take care of your locs the same way as natural loose hair. The best thing to do is know your hair. Then use whatever products and twisting methods right for your hair. How to moisturize starter locs.

Hey: She may have two textures anyway, so let the locs in the crown take time to form, then decide before a year is up if dividing is best. The locs will compact over time, so puffiness wont last forever. Do light wrapping at the base, and palm roll when time is best for you two. You are doing everything right, Mom! Im so elated to see her growth. ❤❤

Wow! What she drew on her arm is amazing. She's an artist. With her hair, there are some locs that look like they either are coming untwisted or it's hair growth. I think it's growth. Which is it? I like the way each loc is a little different than the others.

She looks great!!🤩 Glad she’s happy!!😎 The peel stick tattoos of yesteryear would peel off as soon as you look at it.😁 Sydneys tattoos must be the super deluxe ones - she’s touching them and they stay in place.😄

I’m so happy to see Sidney got locs. I remember stumbling across one of your videos, a long time ago, of her crying while getting her hair styled. I suggested locs then and to see her now loving them is awesome. I hope she continues to like them even during the retwist. 😅

Yes she finally decided to get them. We keep her Locs hydrated and separated. Hopefully the retwist process won't be as painful.
