How long is training if you already have your cdl? Do Greyhound pay weekly??

It’s 2 weeks long with or without cdl and it depends on what location you come out of when it comes to the pay.

I'm doing these modules now❤ Have you had any experience with motor coach prior to Greyhound?

Which greyhound ... did you apply online? My uncle is trying to apply for Greyhound Drivers' job.Is it true about the 10k bonus... He currently lives in Texas and drives city busses, we will be moving back to Nashville, Tennessee soon thats why I asked you your city...Please,I need help in letting me know if you applied online or not,because he filled out the questionnaire online but still hasn't heard back from Greyhound.

I'm not sure if Greyhound has a policy or not for new hires receiving CDL's and retention period during probation of course. But I worked for Detroit DOT and no such policy existed for anyone desiring resignation after achievement of CDL and retention period during probation.

So you can get a CDL in the program?

yes, but you have to have a permit in order to go

I noticed some vacancies show CDL permit accepted and other locations showing CDL required I have my CDL permit out of Florida

Well I guess it depends on the location but as far as I know you can have a premit to go to training and they help you get your CDL

What is the drug test like ?

You would have to go take a drug test and physical exam test before you can go to training.

@@SRTJAY64 no… it will not speed up the process.. You still will have to get a d.o.t physical through greyhound. I had one myself as well but it has to be a new physical

Usually the ones who always ask about drug testing are usually the ones who are smoking weed and doing something their not, if you were clean you wouldn't be asking anything about a drug test

@@Fatz438 yes it’s $100 a day for training. 2 weeks long. And as far as the endorsements it’s best to go in with it but if someone don’t have it they still have to do the same training. Only thing is if they don’t have them all that have to take the test at the Secretary of State b4 they finish with the training
