Day 3 Camino Finisterre / Muxia - Santa Marina to O Logoso - Day 57 Overall

Just 17 kms today from Santa Marina to O Logoso. This is a great route! Not too many people. Some walking it after a longer Camino. Some just walking this route. I stayed here on O Logoso.

Again, a nice private room, nice bar/food. And somewhere to hang washing.

FYI the alt route is also very nice and also very different. More foresty in places, and some road walking as you pass through a good sized town. Less pilgrims take that one. Also, if memory serves me, the markers have the symbol of a person on a green background rather than the standard camino marker. I think it was less of a climb too.

@@robscamino The day after this there is another option for an alternative route that many don't do but should. The main route is all road, the alt route is quiet countryside.

Sounds good. Next time! Next time I might walk out to Muxia direct not via not Fisterra. Though then I miss Great seafood in Corcubion!

So what strength is your Voltaren? In the US it’s typically 1.1%. It requires a prescription and my siblings say it doesn’t do diddly squat.

I have no idea sorry. In Australia we don't really work on %. I use this gel a bit. www.voltaren.com.au/products/pain-relief-gel/voltaren-triple-effect-emulgel/ I tend to mainly use Ibuprofen and Paracetamol tabs. But under strict advice from my Doctor re dosage etc. Ultimately I try to avoid meds. Good Hydration and Stretching helps a lot. I only needed meds 3-4 days out of 60 this time. Avoid getting the pain, rather than reaching for the meds......
