Welcome back to the FindUsCamping Crawl! We've reached Day 25 and have landed at the serene Snake River RV Park in Idaho Falls, ID. After days of dry camping, today is all about relaxation and catching up on some much-needed chores. Our time at Snake River RV Park promises to be a refreshing break as we prepare for more adventures ahead.
Idaho Falls, known for its scenic beauty and outdoor activities, is a perfect stop on our journey. While today is a quieter day, we make the most of the amenities at the RV park, including the inviting pool. The park provides a great setting for unwinding, with its lush surroundings and convenient facilities.
Our day kicks off with a leisurely morning, where everyone takes the opportunity to do some cleaning, laundry, and maintenance on our RVs. It's amazing how a little bit of tidying up can make a big difference in comfort and convenience while on the road. The Snake River RV Park offers all the facilities we need to get these tasks done efficiently.
As the afternoon rolls around, we gather for another beloved FindUsCamping tradition - a potluck dinner. These dinners are always a highlight, bringing everyone together to share delicious homemade dishes and enjoy each other's company. Today's spread features a variety of dishes, showcasing the culinary talents within our group. From hearty casseroles to fresh salads, there's something for everyone.
The socializing continues into the evening by the pool, where laughter and stories are shared under the Idaho sky. The pool area becomes a hub of activity as we relax, swim, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. It's moments like these that make our RV travels so special - the chance to connect with fellow travelers and create lasting memories.
Dinner is followed by a unique and delightful dessert experience, courtesy of Robert. He surprises us with a creative twist on a classic treat - s'mores made with taco shells on the Blackstone griddle. The combination of melted chocolate, gooey marshmallows, and crispy taco shells is an unexpected hit. Everyone gathers around to enjoy these sweet treats, and the smiles and satisfaction are evident on everyone's faces. It's a perfect way to end the day, indulging in a delicious dessert and enjoying each other's company.
As we wind down for the night, the excitement builds for what tomorrow might bring. Idaho Falls offers a variety of activities and attractions, from exploring the Snake River Greenbelt to visiting the Idaho Falls Zoo. What kind of adventures will we embark on next? You'll have to wait and see!
