    I envy those who can tolerate however my health says no. I have sensitive stomach. This is what happens when I eat super spicy: "When spicy food creates inflammation in the gut - from an upset stomach, acid reflux, or other symptoms - sometimes this inflammation can also be seen on the skin with flushing, acne breakout, or even eczema."

  • @IncoherentSchizo
    @IncoherentSchizo2 жыл бұрын

    Pineapple is actually not a very good idea since it contains an enzyme called Bromelain that breaks down certain proteins and protective mucuses in your mouth. It's the reason why some people get a stinging sensation in their mouth after eating pineapple because the acidity of the pineapple is more prominent from the bromelain. I can't say for certain how the lack of that protective mucus would exaggerate the effect of capsaicin, but it would most likely make the heat worse.

    I feel like you should never eat pineapple for relieving spice, because it is very acidic which will make the spice worse. If anything milk works best

    acid does actually work to neutralise spice, in fact its a very good idea. the very reason milk works is because it has fatty acids in it (but it’s also cold too lol). the reason pineapple doesn’t work is because theres an enzyme in it that basically hates humans and thats why our mouths can tingle when eating it

    hey love! my family is CHamoru from the Micronesian island of Guam and I was curious if you would enjoy trying a spicy dipping/rice soy sauce called Fina’Denne made of soy sauce, white vinegar(or lemon juice), chopped green and white onions, minced chilis, and minced pepper. It’s delicious and addicting and you can make it as spicy as you’d like! It’s great to make if you have those extra veggies lying around and wanna spice up your soy sauce. we always have it made ready in our fridge all year like it’s ketchup lol. the recipe is adjustable too. our recipe is : 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 of white vinegar (or lemon juice), 2-3 green onions, half-1 white onion, 3-5 minced red or green hot peppers, and since we use white vinegar we still add just a little bit of lemon juice you can adjust it to your spice preferences and of course use jalapeños too. The traditional substitute for the vinegar is aged sap from palm trees called tubâ used in Filipino alcoholic drinks. Hope you try it!

    Here in the India, in state of Nagaland they make a shredded meat(pork/beef) pickle with Raja Mircha (aka ghost chilly). It’s basically like Meat Floss only a little fried with ghost chilly and herbs specific to that region (not typical Indian masalas). The ethnic tribal people of North East India, we eat a lot of chutney with ghost chilly and bird eye chilly, and other fresh ingredients(veggies) with smoked/fermented meat/fish etc. If you really want to build your spice tolerance, Naga and Manipuri food is the was to go. The most favourite of the mass is Smoked/fresh pork with ghost chilly and bamboo shoot. Make it a dry fry for a snack to go with beer. Or, make it a boiled (stew like) to eat it with rice. Nothing can beat that.

    Apologies if you've already tried it, but yoghurt works great for spice. Only problem I've found is that if you've eating something very spicy you need to constantly put more scoops of it in your mouth in order to get the cooling effect. Take one spoonful, hold it in your mouth until you start feeling the heat again, take another spoonful, rinse and repeat, and eventually the heat will have gone away. I also saw someone recommending lassi, which I wholeheartedly agree with! I'll always get a mango lassi with my order if I feel like splurging when getting South Asian. Mostly 'cause it just tastes so good, but it really does help with the heat as well!

    Try lemon juice for combating spice. Or peanut butter

    Advice: Citric fruits will only make heat worse. Chose a fruit that's not as acidic and it'll work better
