He is 45 now so not young for doing this stuff,extremely fit though Jesus,and such an epic rider. I remember watching graham and Dougy lampkin on Junior Kickstart,in the 80s,it's on KZread is kickstart with graham when he was a kid just starting out,epic stuff!!😊😊👍🏻🔥🔥🔥🇬🇧🤘🏻🤘🏻

Don't forget that the difference between him and us is that we are looking at this calmly, sitting in our armchair, while is on his bike, anxious and tired, in one of the hardest and most challenging race imaginable where every second count... :)

Can someone explain how the tail markers work. Often the trail is not obvious and in a case that the rider can’t see the next marker, how do they know where the trail is?

this year was different, previous years own color per class. now everybody same color but the gold / silver routes were marked with arrow on a junction, same for us as bronze riders (and iron).

A lot of men are red green color blind to some extent. Dim and flat light affects that a lot. The blue really stands out compared to orange and pink in grass and in the trees and on some rocks. Not much blue foliage out there to blend with and hide the markers. You ought to see the little arrows and dots they use in the Roof of Africa enduro. You'd be begging for blue
