Just an FYI for thos considering going this route... Dental implants can be written off on your taxes including travel, lodging and medication - just check against the current year tax rules and/or consult your cpa. Also you should be able to claim some parts of this treatment against your dental insurance like xrays, extractions and such because recovering any little bit helps. www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p502.pdf

Thanks John! I found very few videos on the process online other than before and after scenarios. I spoke with the dentist about filming the procedure to document the process and I was pleasantly surprised when he said "sure, no problem" which actually boosted my confidence to get the procedure done. There is nothing better than knowing what you're getting into before actually doing it so I'm hoping these videos will help those on the fence considering this procedure. 😊👍

@@FFHTV question.... how do they decide where to put the implants? Is it where they find the best bone? 4 on top, 4 on bottom? Can they use existing implants? This will probably be the route I take when it's time for dentures.

interesting how that office did it. I just had my upper arch done literally 10 days ago here in PA and the office I went to I left with the temp upper arch secured to the impanted anchors the same day. 1 week post op checkup Dr said everything looked great. The swelling at the front anchor sites is the worst of it. Like a ache more than pain. nothing really bad. I definitely "feeL' like there's something in my head but again not a pain thing. I know that'll go away as the swelling goes down and it heals. Hang in there man. I know what you're going through.
