I met up with Tom owner Andrew’s and second in command Greg McDell
They showed me round the stunning collection of vehicles including the workshop thad many more cars in storage including one very special car they are restoring to better than new condition that is making good progress but can’t show any footage of that but believe me it’s going to be worth the wait .
Well worth a visit if you’re a classic car fan

There’s a fantastic car museum north of Wellington called Southwards Car Museum a must visit also there was a British Car Museum in Napier I don’t know if it is open maybe by request? Hubnut did videos for these to museums .

In the 1980s i heard about someone building a recovery vehicle for extracting a Duesenberg that had gone off a road many years before and rolled into a gully that was difficult to access. I dont know if it was a true story.
