I never understood why my kids enjoyed watching other kids play video games on KZread, but now… I get it. 😂 I really enjoy watching you learn how to use this machine.

Watching the sock build is sooooo relaxing. It’s a combination of the cranking noise (the clicks) and the colour changes. Love it!

Ha Ha! The needles were all fine. They were just pulled out of the cylinder.

Where did you et your knitting machine, (can you give a link for it?) Did you get a ribber with it.....? I am looking to purchase one!

I got mine at a fiber festival. I saw a woman working on it and mentioned to my sister in law that I would love to get an old sock machine. The woman heard my comment and told me that it was for sale. After a phone call to my husband, I bought it. It is a Legare 47 and it has a 72 needle and a 64 needle cylinder. It also has a ribber, and I am working up[ the courage to try the ribber! I had been looking on ebay, so I knew what the going rate was, plus I like that I saw her working on it, so I knew that it worked, That fact that maybe some parts would be missing or damaged on ebay always scared me on ebay. Now that I have one and have been on the Facebook groups and KZread channels, I can tell you that the machines on ebay look pretty good and they average around $1600-1700
