I am really enjoying this episode. I love the authenticity of your dad. Most other people are buying the flashing things or the biggest things. Yet the most down-to-earth message from this video, "If I have a tractor with no A/C then I might as well not have a cab at all".

Hey Pickle and Papa Pickle I love this idea of both yall playing on together and being able to show/tell each other more about there craft. Papa Pickle please keep telling us why you like one piece of land over another and also explaining it! I personally dont know to much about real life farming but when you are explaining why you do or dont like the land it lets me and hopefully others learn. But anyways Thank you for reading and Please keep it up one of my favorite videos!!!!

This is so nice to see. My dad is almost 85 and a farmer his entire life. I would love to play Farm Sim with him. But, he barely knows how to use a smartphone. Still though, this is nice. I'm really happy for the two of you. God bless you both.

Honestly, after hearing Papa Pickle, I actually want Giants Software to be more in depth in terms of some of the stuff he said lol. Like the lowlands being susceptible to flooding and/or having to actually water the crops would be cool

I just watched a man and his dad buy a piece of land and a tractor for 28 minutes and it felt like 5 minutes at most.

Really cool seeing a real farmer on this game. Additionally I've been to Iowa, around the Storm Lake area, so it adds a neat aspect that you guys purchased realistic farmland out there.

We neeed more papa🗿

This is this best simulation. An actual successful farmer going through the thought process of investing in a farm. Looking at the drainage, potential flooding etc. This video series is going to rock so long as @mrpapapickle remains interested. In the game I usually just buy the plot right next to the house, it doesn't really make a difference in the simulation.

Love this idea! I’d love to hear even more about real-life farming, like how he wants rolling hills because flat land holds too much water. Let’s get nerdy!

Did you check out the basement in the house? check the garage for a door! Not sure if you meant to not download the Taheton mod pack so you can get the extra buildings on your land. Really makes it look official and brings the many areas around the map together!

He was giving him the field size not the land size. That 9.5 acre field was actually on 50 acres. They could have made additional fields or increased the area.

Just watched this with my wife. I know it’s a little late, but it shows the acres for each field down in the bottom in blue next to the price. Also, you’re driving my exact truck, except it’s black. Have fun!

It never even occured to me that flat land is bad, I know when I bought my house I looked for house on hill because growing up my dad told me that you want that, but I didn't know it was same for farm land
