This never fails to make me cry. I had a feeling that one of the main characters would not make it to the end, but it feels even more unfair for Jen, who never got a break and always seemed to be on the losing end of things.

Such a beautiful yet heartbreaking last message for Amy from her mother. It was good Jen left behind something of her so her daughter could hold onto for wisdom and comfort from her mom.

Michelle Williams was always a brilliant actress, but this scene really showed off her dramatic chops, so it's no surprise that she later became an Oscar nominated actress. Bonus points for Sarah McLachlan's haunting "Angel" playing in the background.

HE should have ended up with JEN and Joey killed off sorry but that’s what I think - Joey annoyed me LOL

I am legitimately pissed that she gets killed off, but it was also what made the finale so great and the lyrics to “I don’t wanna wait for my life to be over” make sense.

This is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen. I never understand when people say bad things these teen shows from the late 90s and early 2000s,i mean,yeah,sometimes they were cringe,or very dramatic or even unrealistic...but just watch this scene,the heart in it,the writing and the acting...i'd take the cringe,the dramatic and the unrealistic any day if we'd return to have these shows that were so pure and so well-written and portraited...i feel like today we lack in this simplicity that just hits you,i miss this...

Jen was my favorite character and im so sad they let her die :/ her life was so sad and never found real love. I couldn’t stop crying when i saw this scene

I've seen every episode of Dawson's Creek probably 5 times. I'm a grown man and this makes me cry.

Jen went through so much and her dying was the most heartbreaking thing to ever happened when she told Jack she was dying I started to cry 😢 and telling her daughter through the camera is so heartbreaking to i am so happy and proud of Jennifer she changed for the better best character development Rest In Peace Jennifer Lindley Michelle is a incredible actress.

She was my most favourite character in this show...

This is a very touching moment in this series bc it really touched my heart and in this show it took a beautiful soul but I know she is not dead just in the show . I am happy that she wrote this message for her daughter in the show bc it shows how much her life was and how much she loved her daughter .

jen found that love in henry to the tips of your fingers at least that is what henry always tried to show her, i always envisioned a teary eyed henry over jens bed, but that character never returned to any more episodes, i also envioned henry getting a daughter and naming her jen
