I don’t like that they starting keeping things from each other. She never told him she was late and scared. He never told her about the arrest and camping trip.

I wonder how he would had reacted if she really was pregnant! And he was the first person she ever became intimate with and he would be the last one too!!!!

Not necessarily the last. Just because they were together at 25 doesn't mean they ended up together.

Its sad and dissapointing you can see near the end of season 4 there relationship is falling apart.

I think it made would’ve been such an amazing storyline if Joey really was pregnant but I don’t know if they did have the child, if they would’ve been endgame.

@M yeh you were right it was coming to the end of their romantic chapter but guess what happened 7 years later? The beginning of the end became the beginning again. Joey and Pacey found each other again so everything worked out in the end of Dawson's Creek. Joey, Pacey and Dawson all got their happy ending!

Looking back Joey was always a little bit selfish when it came to Pacey. She never really cared about what was going on in his world. She just always expected him to be there and listen to her non existent problems. No wonder they broke up.

@@kerriethompson2073 I love their banter and their chemistry but also felt that Joey was selfish and inconsiderate. And I liked her and Dawson together even less. Love Pacey though, love his story arch.

I’m not on board with Gretchen telling Joey about the public drunkenness arrest. I don’t think that was her place. On another note, I like how their relationship shows that love is great, but when it comes to marriage and children, love has to combine with communication and some practical matters. Pacey learned that he wasn’t really ready for anything with her because he hadn’t sorted himself out.
