    Chicago won this draft by a wide margin... I'm super happy for Kamilla as a brazilian, but her and Angel Reese? This team was a playoff team last season, two picks like this might bring them into serious championship contention.

    @@dreambiggmedia well just wondering due to how hard they do go at it whenever they play each other that it is such a fierce rivalry. Just do know that with the top of them on a team together and if their coach and teammates can harness their potential they can definitely become a very effective and most especially a top tier team to beat in the WNBA that I could say closely resembles the bad boy pistons era. Then Caitlin Clark with Aaliyah Boston resembling Magic and the Showtime Laker era…WNBA is going to be 🔥 this year is all I can say. If a team can bring back the rivalry that was between Magic and Bird and can definitely be these two teams which will definitely bring in fans and ratings. For now I know it’s the whole goat vs rookie rivalries they got going on but I’m more excited for this and to see the continuation of college basketball in the WNBA.

    Coach Staley is plugged into how we women operate generally in life. Im learning women are the best coaches for women players. By that when she said as a suggestion to coaches, “communicate clearly what you expect of the players. Otherwise if you let someone new just sit and they’re shy like her player being drafted…. They’ll start thinking “the coach doesn’t like me etc.” When I think about the same situation in NBA, those players don’t think like that I’m guessing. Probably say ,How can I get this guy?” (Just a joke about NBA.)

    Did Dawn get mad at Coach Bluder and say "we're not monkeys!" trying to frame her as racist again? Too bad she didn't tell the story of the ''miracle'' of having 10 5 star players and overwhelming the sport - and any organic competition - to ''win'' and be ''coach of the year''.

  • @AsToldByMindy

    @AsToldByMindy

    Did Bluder apologize to Dawn for referring to SC players as bar-fighters? So because Dawn can recruit and Bluder is not on her level that makes Dawn a miracle coach? Dawn doesn’t need to tell the story because her 3 national titles is proof of how great she is. Maybe Bluder can learn some things from her.

    @@AsToldByMindy why are you such a race-baiter? Bluder didn't "call them", she said the rebounding battle was "like going to a bar fight" .... I'd give you the benefit of the doubt but the tuner suggests isn't just a problem of grammatical comprehension. (A verb to location/event isn't the same as a label for humans. And even if she had said bar fighters, that's not an insult it's a compliment and it's not racial.) You know it's really ugly when people twist words especially on something like racism. Have some self-respect. So what actually happened is then not only did Staley twist that and try to frame Bluder with bar fighters she also said "thugs and monkeys." What a dirty and low-minded thing to do. And all because she thinks she's entitled to win and couldn't accept losing to an organically developed team with much better coaching. No she's far from a miracle coach. She did the public posturing using the word "miracle" and saying that "God" had made her team win when it actually she had an All-Star team did Michael Jackson's cadaver could have coached to the final four. Gino wants something like 10 championship and he's not great either it's easy to win when you get half of the top recruits every year and the NCAA has no competitive oversight. Why do you think women's basketball has been on life support until finally one transcendent star decided to break the monopoly and connect with a great coach, which is what people want to see? Staley and Mulkey are going to destroy the NCAA women's unless they are stopped. All of the Sinai and inciting comments are not forgotten by people who reached out with warmth and kindness. By the way are you enjoying the idea of men and the girls locker room?

    Why is it Dawns fault that Bluder can’t pull in a 5 star recruit other than Clark. That’s the real question. She had 4yrs to do that, what happened, she got Clark and stopped and rode her back?

  • @destinypirate

    @destinypirate

    2 ай бұрын

    @@cjenen4238 there's a reason that sports organizations have oversight: When somebody gets an angle to monopolize talent the competition is destroyed. The 1960s Celtics are possibly the most famous example of this with Red Auerbach having control of so many back doors.The pay and extra recognition the players would get for going to the only dominant organization of course trumped sporting considerations. This nearly destroyed the NBA. Fortunately the league reformed the draft and placed the salary cap. Would you have also blamed the other coaches back then for failing to break the recruitment monopoly? If you want to fault Iowa's coach Bluder it would be for her loyalty, there were many players who wanted to transfer in and join Caitlin Clark but coach Bluder honored the offers and scholarships already given, even if the girls were of lesser talents. This in no small part is what people loved about Iowa, a team organically developing with what they have instead of ring chasing. Don't believe me, maybe believe that 500 percent of people who would rather watch inspiring sporting parity than a few gatekeepers winning year after year and giving themselves awards.
