As a 60 yr old man....im a HUGE Dawn Staley fan. She was a beast in college and during her pro career. I am not ashamed to say i got teary and actually had to walk away from the TV because i would've started crying. Came here to watch it now that im more composed. So proud of her and her team. This can never be taken away from them.

Congrats Coach Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks for completing an undefeated season 38-0 and winning the NCAA tournament championship!! S.C. is 74-1 the last two seasons!! This program is on top of the mountain!!

"Uncommon Favor " says it all.

This championship means a whole lot. It's very difficult to go undefeated the entire season and win a National Championship. They handled it with grace and class. Coach Staley's teams reflect her class and ezcelkence.

Usually one team gets all the best players such as SC did and has been. UCONN was this way in the past. CC was a rarity in that she stayed in her home state. So it's just not fun to watch one team with all WNBA players that can play only 20 min a game destroy teams that have to develop their players and struggle to recruit and have to play their players the entire game to hope to match up to the big money teams. I mean Iowa's players played 36 min on average. CC played the whole game. She was dead.

According to the cc fanatics, she was the best and everybody else was a non-factor. Don’t make excuses now. Clark didn’t get the job done. South Carolina was a dormant program when Coach Staley took over 16 years ago. She built this powerhouse program from the ground up. Put some respect on Coach Staley and the Lady Gamecocks name!

*Congrats to SC!!* I remember a my dad had a poster of her on our wall when she played for The Sting when I was a kid. She too lead her team to 3 final fours in college, but never who a championship. It’s awesome to see her win another as a coach!!

The difference of the game. South Carolina got better freshman players. Tessa Johnson. Dam, she was cooking out there. I still feel the heat check. 🥵

She can ball, for sure, but that's about it. All offense. You see how good teams can chip away at that and let the one star player score as much as they want. We'll just make sure your teammates are mostly null & void out there. I just wonder what the in cells are going to come up with to massage their ego in the next few days. Wow amazing performance by the south Carolina Women team this afternoon was a tough and physical and mental game tonight but by the end of the clock they came out in top.Hopefully they will win the championship this year. Great contributions tonight and efforts from Ashlyn,Kamilla ,Te-hina, Raven Johnson and Tessa Johnson tonight.But for me the MVP player goes to Tessa Johnson her 19 points lead South Carolina to the victory and prevented them from being eliminated. But on the defense end this afternoon was a big and great game coming from Kamila her 15 points and 17 rebounds This is a great night for Gamecocks fans and Dawn Stanley as well.

Congratulations! That was a perfect TEAM-effort. ‘Twas basically a brand new team!! The coach and the girls Believed, then they knew!!
