I know unification has that thing where some factions have weirdly anime/sexy takes on certain units, but I find it hilarious that one of those factions is the one that is probably the most opposed to flesh in any form lol.

This case is less about being sexy and more of making it easy to get limbs and bodyparts blasted off to replace them with machinery. The Mechanicus do this type of stuff on purpose. Why else would some Skitarii carry highly radioactive weapons. The easiest way to get augmented is to simply have flesh be blasted apart. Simplest way to achieve this is to wear as little protection as possible on the more expendable replaceable squishy parts of the human body.

@@fuggles2k I know Unification didn't make the AdMech faction. I was just poking fun at how some of the factions collected in it have some units with peculiar designs. Though now that I've read it explained, the reason for her design here makes way more sense. Now the straight up anime girl units like that one the World Eaters have...thats a different story, but yeah, I always knew Unification was mainly just a collection of other devs factions throughout the years.

yeah, the modders seem to have an irresistible desire to shove scantily clad anime women into the 40k world for some reason. a female admech probably shouldn't look any different from a male.

We played well, I liked it :)

It helps to build a second Admech HQ as soon as possible. Not only does it give you more req as Admech struggles with that as it has to sacrifice req rate to produce power, but also 2 bases means double the production of any unit in your current tech tier. It is better to have 2 hellstakers ready to fend off an attack, maybe even all three. Ever since Unification 6.9, Admech HQs have become more affordable to facilitate getting more production out to be able to better keep up with other factions. Other than that any Deathguard path that gives plague marines their grenades is a bad matchup for Admech. Said poison damage over time they make can eat through any infantry that isn't a commander or terminator and Admech's main sources of tanking damage are Hyspasists with the carapace armor upgrade or Leman Russ Kings. Also never bring the mobile HQ to the front, it is currently less durable than its stationary structure armor version. This is not a monolith, anti vehicle weapons can melt it. Unupgraded Imperial Guard Leman Russ Tanks can easily kill it. If an Admech player's only HQ is the Mobile Base, then the game is as good as over. Other than that...this was a good game between Roman and Tigershark and another great cast by Mr Landshark.

Now that's a matchup I have never seen before. Pretty nice showing of the players. The STC searchers also fit so good into the map with the cranes and stuff. Very nice cast as per usual.

I am something of an std searcher myself....I see myself out.

Maybe in Unification 7.0 when the devs deem the next version of the ready for public release. Maybe then their tier II will be properly patched as good as their late game was fixed.

the admech they use are so outdated its not even funny I honestly hate the admech faction because of this and I wish someone would make a admech mod based on the actual units listed in the codex ie Skitari or vanguard.

seriously how can i play this? I can't figure out how to down load all the files and have it work

It's pretty simple, download all the files in the same folder, run the installers, launch the mod manager, toggle LAA, select the mod and press 'launch mod'

im a complete dunce with modding and i got it to work, just put it all in one folder, run the installer and let it do its own work and install the mod manager while you have the installer open then use the dow mod manager to launch the extra races part of the mod, dont forget to turn on LAA.
