Cool stuff. Interesting direction some of the new things have taken - seems to be more than a nod towards dealing with infantry blobs - with stuff that can handle itself against an aggressive rush. Plugs a few tactical holes. Autarch looks cool and adds a new facet - more eldar micro management hell - but good stuff. Its about time we saw at least something vaguely hawk like from the eldar. I used to love using those guys in 2nd Ed with the mass of airborne grenades.

Noise marines are the greatest unit I seen in RTS, and I'm not even talking about how good they are in the game but concept alone. I mean...marines who uses sound as a weapon ! they're normal attack (which screws ranged units) sounds so cool ! And they're special ability "Cacophony" sounds like they're wailing on guitars fused with demonic energy.

If anyone is wondering why the Noise Marine Blastmaster has a spasm after he fires a shot, it's because he literally gets high off of it whenever he shoots his cannon lol. (It's true lore wise...)

@MrShadowCollector But how do you know the production building will be a monolith? Monoliths don't produce necrons if you look in the codex. This means it could be anything for the production.

@MrShadowCollector But you have to remember that necrons can take damage and get back up. This will also be easier to do if their were tomb spyders and a necron lord w/rez orb. Plus you have to acknowledge that the super unit could possibly make their dis-advatages into advantages

@michaell8000 The Lord General will actually not lose health until his retinue is killed off. So any damage he takes is transferred to his squadmates instead until he is the last man standing.

Is this game (Retribution) like Dark Crusade or Soulstorm? I mean, when you are on campaign you can choose any races you want but online you can only choose the unique races of each expansion. Does it happen on Retribution?

The SwarmLord is the single greatest unit in the game. I had baneblades fall to him. He's that good.

It's sad to know people refer to the improper source for music.. The actual artist is "Celldweller", and the primary source for the music is the album "Soundtrack for the Voices in My Head Vol. 1". However, some of the music comes from other albums.

@MrShadowCollector Don't get me wrong either I play necrons and love them. BUT I don't want them in at the moment I was just stateing how much the Nightbringer would own. I really do hope for a Necron codex because they really need one. I believe it's the only one that hasn't been revisted in a long while which is upsetting for all the Necron fans and players

@lordoftroy Your right it could just be a Tomb for all we know but regardless I don't see how the Monolith can just enter the battlefield really. It's just stupid for it to teleport in the middle of a battle owning everything with its Particle whip. Don't get me wrong I like the necrons and Still waiting for a new codex like every true nec player (Maybe some new units too since the Dark eldar got some). But i don't really want them in for now. I would prefer Daemon Hunters or New Dark Eldar.

@AGrumpyPanda The Manticore is in Retribution, being the first time that unit is featured in DoW. lol I wish I could call myself a decent tactician. I play based on a strategy, in case that fails, usually I'm screwed :p

@LeanderAdam Well voice acting got messed up, GUO sounds awful. Thank God there is a sound mod for that and as far as MP goes the matchups are more fair but at the price of longer wait times to get properly matched up. Depends on the time of day people are playing on though. We are getting a new balance patch to address a few things. Hopefully the memory leak gets fixed, cause right now you need to restart the game if you play for too long because the loading times go up over time.

@lordoftroy But even if they do become added arty strikes will destroy them. Like I said the only thing going for them is probably Necron Lord with Wargear, Gauss Weapons which will function probably like Plasma guns even though their far far stronger, and Probably the monolith but I doubt they would add a Monolith since it's the Necron's HQ and if it gets destroyed well...You can draw the conclusion.
