the fact that it was made by students is beyond me, this directing, characters, action and sound design is mind-blowing and phenomenal honestly this 16min episode got me more hyped up for than most mecha shows nowadays.

熱意だけでは作品を支えられないのはファン側もなのかもしれないし、熱意で上回るから価値が追いつくのが遅くなってしまうのかもしれない。

These guys need a studio where they can create masterpieces like this. This is top tier mecha anime than most of the current mecha ones.

If you say they need a studio they really need there own studio so they can do this and not being pushed around and all that not stupid studios that work them to the bone And also this is their Passion they love doing anime and they should be able to be free And be able to do the stuff without having problems So when you say these students need a studio you're basically putting them in a spot they should not be in what so ever sorry if what I said don't mean since because I am not really good with words

ハル機が着陸後にいきなり胸部装甲引っぺがしたの、冒頭でルイとリリーの居る基地が「戦域とは地球の裏側」って説明されてて超遠くにあるから、そこにたどり着くまでに全エネルギーを消費して停止寸前で、停止するとハッチを開く動力も喪失して閉じ込められちゃうから急いで装甲ごとハッチ剥がした（ので機体も完全停止した時バランスを失い倒れこんでる、きちんと降着姿勢とる時間すらもう存在しなかった）んだ、というのとそんな長距離・長時間を操縦してハルも疲労困憊なので機体から出た直後にぶっ倒れたってのを反映した一連の演出と描写の細かさに気づいて感動。 戦闘やメカニックのギミック、インターフェイス等だけじゃなく本当に細かいこういう部分も考えて作られてるのは素晴らしい…。

Holy Crud can't believe I just stumbled upon this gem! Dear God this puts most current professional studios to shame. You can tell this was made by people with passion for the mecha genre.

Give them time to work on a project and they will be able to do even better than this... @@pauloazuela8488 agreed, like one punch man for example it's got an average budget (around $70,000 - $80,000 per episode) but has great animation and as far as I remember no CG characters which is a plus in my opinion.

made by people who have no understanding of physics. when a 50 meter, 500 tons mech moves, it SHOULD NOT F**KING move like a human sized video game character. things needs to have weight and reasonable acceleration (meaning things will "look" slow, like when the space shuttle lifts off). some 3d models and liberal application of overlay effects from Adobe Premier doesn't make this "professional".

CG技術だけじゃない、ロボットの一つ一つの動かし方、ビームの光らせ方、色んなところに愛情と熱意を感じる。 人型ロボットの浪漫が詰まってるよ。 本当にすごい。

This just appeared in my recommended today and I'm so glad that it did. This blew me away and I need more. Crazy that students did this, it's the best Mecha anime I've seen in a long time.

It's either computer generated filler frame or just straight up 2,5D animation. The same way nechas are animated in Voltron and, well, almost everything in the new Dragon Price season. It has something uncanny to it, idk...

@@nell2352 definitely algorithmic inbetweening. The smooth movements still jerk between frames, its just that thees a smooth transition between frames now, so definitely automated. Nothing wrong with it, but its not quite in a great place yet

Generally speaking, the only way a project like that is going to succeed is if a bigger studio takes it on. And well, one of the reason anime like this don't do as well is down to production interference. It could lose all the charm it has just because the higher ups in the studio (or worse, the publishers) say they want to take it in another direction. And with the characters being CGI, if the budget for animation is cut, they could become rather lifeless looking.

Oh, and the complexity of that unit at the end would have to be stepped down. You don't get a show like this off the ground without having something to sell, and that looks WAY too complicated to make a figure or model kit of. Too many moving panels.

Not sure how this showed up on my feed, but glad it did. This is pretty damned good. I really like the art style, its a nice mesh of minimalistic style with highly shaded edges and highly detailed action-packed scenes. I'd watch more of this :)

短いシークエンスの中に人類側の作戦、敵の正体不明の恐ろしさと人類を滅ぼせる力、人類の力が通用しない絶望、戦線の崩壊と反撃の芽、という流れが無理なく、わざとらしくないのにちゃんと情報が提示されてて映像としてもナラティブとしてもクオリティ高くて素晴らしいです　キャラクターも狙いすぎた感じがないのに可愛くかっこよく魅力的

凄いねぇ… 私は60歳オーバーのジイさんですが、息子たちに負けないくらいアニメ好き。 学生さん達がこんな作品を作れるんだ、と思うと胸が高鳴りマス！ 将来が楽しみです。 頑張って！ ちなみに、私はブラックナイトの母艦のシーンが好きです。

The best CG anime I've ever seen were done by Polygon, and that's because they don't try to emulate 2d anime animation with a CG format. Way too many cg anime try to do that and they fail all the time.

やばすぎ、、、 この1本だけで長編アニメの後半部分を見たかのような満足感とハラドキがたまらん。 10:12のジェット噴射で下から青く照らされてるシーンが好きすぎる。分かってんなぁって感じ。

途中から完全に自主制作って事を忘れて魅入ってしまった。 本当に凄い。映像としての完成度の高さに本当に驚いた。 制作に関わった人達の今後の活躍に期待します。

こんな長時間のアニメ映画を学生だけで作ったのもすごいし、 逆にこんな短時間で感動させるのもえぐい

いやはやとんでもないクオリティですね…言うまでもなく学生作品のレベルではない。私も一介のCGアニメーターですが、これほどの作品を作るのは技術だけじゃなくチームとしても並外れた努力と熱意・連携が必要だったはず。 これからのアニメ業界を引っ張っていく人達だと思います、頑張ってください！！

man.. this is better than half the newer Gundam. You can feel the weight and clunkiness of the mecha. The newer stuff is like acrobatics machines.. they don't feel like heavy mechs.

設定や世界観はありきたりかもしれないけど、ストーリーや演出やBGMはすごく好み。 続編が見たくなる映像でした。

These guys deserve to have their own animation studio. They've done such an amazing job at this.

厳しめのこと言う人も中には居るみたいだけどすごく良い。これがまだスタートって伸び代青天井じゃん。

ストーリーもBGMやそれを入れるタイミングもアニメーションも全てにおいて傑作過ぎるレベル

すごい…本当にすごい……。これしか言えなくて申し訳ない。 戦闘シーンも綺麗だったし、この絶望感堪らんし、先が見えなくなった状況での仲間との会話とかもとても好きです。ずっと綺麗で夢中でした。仲間のところに戻ってきて、その場で崩れてしまうところとかも、なんとも言えない感情になり泣きました。 素晴らしい作品を作ってくださりありがとうございます。

果ての一閃というタイトル、そしてこのメカデザイン(特に顔まわり)、どうやら閃の軌跡にだいぶ影響を受けて作ったと推測。いいね

商業作品でも世界観、デザイン、シナリオどれかが刺さればラッキーくらいなのに、この作品は全部刺さった… プロになってこれからのロボットアニメジャンルを牽引する存在になっていただきたいです。

自主制作って枠を完全に超えた作品 こういったクリエイター様達、声優様達がこれからの日本のアニメ界を牽引していくことを祈ってます！

最近の自主制作アニメって軽く映画を超えるのすごい。

This is actually sooo good. If I may say, I can kind of see some inspirations from Gundam, Evangelion and Aldnoah Zero here, but to produce something of this quality as an indie project is insane.

赤い新型にセラフ式の展開組み込んでるのは最高すぎる…

普通に企業レベルですごい、純粋に続きが気になった。 自分も専門のCG卒で業界で働いてたけど、学生の時にこんな作品よう作れん。スケジュール管理よく出来てたんやろな。さすがHAL、レベルが違う。

良いものを見させていただけた。こういう創作の最前線に立つ人って尊敬する。

The Audio and SFX really detail making all of the scene even more alive .

3Dアニメーションの動きの滑らかさと2Dアニメの様な表情がコロコロ変わる感じがとても好きです！ クオリティも卒業制作とは思えないくらい高いレベルの物なのに何故伸びないんだ〜伸びてくれ〜！

あっという間の16分でした。環境音特に 風の音が自主制作とは思えない程質が 高く映像と相まって没入感が凄かった です。とても楽しい時間を過ごさせて 頂きました。感謝します。

素晴らしい！ 東映アニメ「長靴をはいた猫」を最初に、アニメを見始めて５０余年、若い人の情熱の結晶を見た気がします。 ストーリー設定はもとより、戦闘シーンのダイナミックさからリリィの階段を下りるディテールまで、生き生きとした動きにほとばしるものを感じます。何よりこだわりが生きている！ 新型登場の続編が見たいです。 これからも頑張ってください！！！

This is very good indie project, but for become flagship series is still very far. Even in this animation you can still find dna from aldnoah zero, gundam, sidonia, and the story is not unique or stand out.

"APFGDS" You have me convinced that the people working on this show love what they're doing. No other sci-fi show pays attention to details like that. I assume it means "Armor Piercing Fin Guided Discarding Sabot" which makes sense for ammnition meant for long range engagements beyond visual range compared to APFSDS or "Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot" I can't wait to see more, this was amazing to watch

ロボットアニメへの情熱と浪漫を感じた。ロボットアニメ好きなら誰もがドキドキする王道ストーリーに、重力下でなんとかロボットを制御する重量感。バーニアの噴射に合わせた細やかな挙動。 プロが作るアニメでもしないような丁寧な描写。是非同スタッフを主軸として商業化してほしい

光線が地球の重力で曲がってるのがいい感じ

想像を超えた労働力がかかってると思うから気軽に言えないけど 馬鹿みたいに続きが見たい 序盤のヘルメット装着するシーンで、この方達のSFに対する熱意を感じた。 同時にこの作品に引き込まれた。

普通にテレビかしてほしいくらいいい人気出ると思う

I hate that I've put this on my watch later and didn't touch it for so long. The mechs' motions, the premise, the visuals, the characters, the story, everything about these 16 minutes and 17 seconds just makes me want more of it.

The rocket thrusters on those suits are so satisfying to see. The way each suit is able to spin around in the air and maneuver is really cool

すげぇ技術と熱意が込められている作品だぁ。そしてこのロボの格好良さ。モデラーはものすごいロボ好きに違いない。

It’s actually insane how high quality this is, I’m really hoping that the creator continues with it and makes a full series. This is absolutely amazing.
