Yeah, I like the look and it's easy to do, so I haven't changed it up much.

If there are enemy drone spawners, I recommend capturing and scripting them to follow you. Their great for bullet shields.

There're no AI mods on the server I'm playing on, but now with the Automatons update I might find player made drones. If I do I'll definitely try to "recruit" them.

The sensor idea for closing doors is elegant and flexible, but all you need is to set the doors to autoclose after a few seconds. And you don't have to expend resources to build sensors.

I actually already have a timer set up to close all doors every 20 seconds. I could reduce the time, but I don't like them closing in my face too often.

If you increase your rep with a faction, the prices get cheaper.

It seemed that way, but I wasn't sure. Probably did a couple hundred missions and there was often a discount.

The asteroid you landed on is the same exact model asteroid I made my current base in.

@@ShiftyshadowTV I'd imagine. I like using asteroid interiors far from planets though that way I'm well hidden from everyone. I even keep my ships in a different asteroid that I made a garage out of just so people can't pinpoint where my base is. I've had a lot of trouble with being raided.

Mobility is key, a stationary base can always be found eventually.

@@ShiftyshadowTV Yea but it's going to be incredibly hard to find the one I have now. You have to go about 75,000k away from the alien planet and then find the particular asteroid it's in and then get past the mine field and navigate the tunnels into the asteroid until you find the non lit base with no antenna or beacon and then get past the base defences all while avoiding hidden warheads within the tunnels and the tunnel leading to the base is just big enough for a person to fit into

@@ShiftyshadowTV Yea I made one for the last base I had......came in handy when it was raided and that is why I am now in an asteroid far away from planets. I made an escape pod with all of the essential tools, bottles, and components for a starter base.

Yeah, I could definitely make one. If we get the Grid AI update any time soon that would work in nicely. I could also have all the modules split up and fly to predetermined locations. It would save most of them and I could then go reassemble what survives.

I had a method for doing search contracts in space suit but your method is much easier
