Jesus, this kid is good. Tight playing, great tone, smooth voice, AND he's oozing energy. He might be carrying the flag for the blues genre in the future.

He’s Manx, not Irish. Ireland is a few miles to the left of the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 👍 We love the Irish but we’re proud of Davey and so that needed to be corrected 😉

I am playing My Tele as I listen, not quite a good as Davy however! What a performance!

Just an attempt at dry humor. I want to do a cover of this song and wanted to see how others did it besides CSN I liked this one . You and others here may know it but for those who don't , before the term hippie was used , the counter culture called themselves Freaks . R Crumb ( Fabulous Fury Freak Brothers ) If you see the Woodstock movie I'm pretty sure the word hippie is never mentioned in the movie . But there's a guy explaining to a cop that they call themselves Freaks . And the cop is saying they seem like nice fellas not Freaks .And the young dude is explaining Freaks is not a bad term in their eyes. Back then everyone wasn't divided into a million fragments like today .Freaks included everyone under the sun , short hairs ,long hairs , gay s, straights ,blacks, whites , rock , blues and people with'ot shoes. Freak Flag was Crosby's hair as it was a way to identify someone was ok to smoke a jay with as laws were pretty harsh in most parts of the country at the time. That's why him seeing a police car in his rear view mirror caused paranoia.

He didn't cut his hair but he shaved off his beard . How disappointing !
