This Latvia team is so unpredictable. You cannot say for sure where the biggest danger will come from. One day it's Žagars, the other R. Kurucs, today Bertāns and Zoriks. A great team performance.

European NBA players often do better in FIBA games since the rules are different in the NBA, and most of their life they have played by FIBA rules.. also we have to remember that NBA doesnt really do defense, no offense ofc, but often its just run, shoot, run back, repeat, while by FIBA rules its much more defensive play.. 3rd thing we have to remember is that while in the NBA teams have set gameplan going in to the season, which will largely stay unchanged, and so if you are not part of that plan(for example like Bertans, that was traded to get rid of a bad contract for Capitals, and just as a piece to add to the trade), you wont get to play a lot that season.., this is because the season in NBA is so dense with games, but for a WC teams get to prepare for specific teams, do some counter-strating etc
