Davis Bertans. The Latvian Laser. Remember that season he averaged almost 16 in Washington? Made that contract look almost worth it. Now he's still getting paid, but he gets to just casually shoot a few 3s here and there off the bench for the Mavs. I'm not saying Bertans is bad by any means, but I think the era of overpaying for just shooting is over.
But hey, it's not all bad! checks boxscore Oh, apparently Latvia just got eliminated out of the FIBA tourney. But hey, his shooting numbers were pretty good!
