    Konstantin & Vito: Awesome battle both of you. In this episode there were no losers. It was hilarious to see Vito in the push press, using no techninqe what so ever, just pure muscle up the bar. But it must have been so frustrating in the final exercise, putting all that energy into lifting the sandbag only to see it stuck on the yoke. I am so stoked by your performance that I'm going down to the gym to hit some new PR:s!

    I think the same height bar is absolutely fair. Put it this way, should the weights be adjusted because someone might have a higher 1rm than their competitor? Should the number of reps also be adjusted because someone has better conditioning than their competitor? Performing the EXACT same events is the only fair way to compete, regardless of the size and shape of the participants.

    Wow, sorry to talk like this but this is the epithome of uncoordination. A push press is literally the most natural movement one does when trying to put something overhead. Very much like driving with your legs on pullups when you're extremely fatigued. A proper push press requires proper technique, but a desperation push press already helps you a whole lot.

  • @kblkbl

    @kblkbl

    7 жыл бұрын

    +xxzodiacxx01 I'm aware. What I'm saying is that the movement of the push press is an instinctive one. When you struggle with a military press the first response of your body is to use leg drive. Of course it won't be as effective as an Oly Lifter push press, where they put well beyond 50kg+ on the push press/jerk, but it'll help a lot.

    To be fair - this isn’t a who has the best form. Same with pull up competitions etc. Most Calisthenics comps count a pull-up as chin above the bar even if you move it yourself it counts. Not sure how it works in these kind of competitions - as long as the form is okay (not perfect) then I think it’s fine.

    in a documentary. dont have a link for you but the story about David and Goliath has its roots in a fight that took place among jewish tribes and the same David from this duel later became king david who united the jewish tribes (by force). I am sure there is plenty of documentaries about the subject. Couldnt find the one i watched, though.

    yes i do heard that secular interpertation in academia and such.... but i can't find any biblical narratives that stated so... instead in biblical he's regarded as "Ideal Leader".. that walk in God's ways.. though he's not pure from sins also...

    We can take many lessons from this video, that differences in size, strength, can be tricked by hard work, unyielding, and with a burning desire. It is painful, but pain can be withheld easier than shame, pain is temporary, but not with shame that will follow us forever. *Rizky adhe,Indonesia 8 april 2020.
