I brought spare pants just in case! Though actually, it's been so well put together it feels incredibly stable if when it looks sketchy. Beautiful to drive even at those speeds :)

It's average built, setup doesn't really add up. For that power to weight ratio it's slow...

The golden ratio of weight, power and gear ratio is almost there on the Mini, a few tweaks on the gearbox shifting could have the results switched quite easily.

Definitely my favorite mini build I’ve ever seen, that dsg and build quality is so amazing.

Both cars are awsome, but that mini is a lil gem. Me and a friend test drove a Cooper s that had been modded, straight cut gears and i think it had 1450cc displacement. Was wild.

The amg driver buzzing off how quick the mini is. True petrol head right there 🔥🔥🔥

I have a 2010 W212 E63 saloon with the 6.2 v8 m156 engine and that's lightening fast, so I can imagine how fast that new gen E63 4.0 twin-turbo must be ! - That mini was amazing off the line due to it's power to weight ratio - Much respect to both drivers - The mini driver was a great sport and a cool guy ! 👍👍👍👍👍

An older stock e63 making 2.99 0-60? Wow that is insane considering on paper it says 3.3-3.4.

I think the paper says 3.3/3.4sec to 100kmh which is actually 62,5mph, but that’s still faster than 3.3s…really fast for stock e63…

Grate race by both guys and respect to the mini. But… The W213 E63s is a beast and one of the best cars on the road.

Great video and respect to both drivers. Amir showing true sportsmanship. When I get my supra back on the road (with more power 😊) wouldn’t mind a few runs against that amg and would love to be on OG battles 🤓

@MrCaterhamr500 iv got a mk2 face-lift octavia vrs pretty much the same set up and in sport mode they drag the gears out and stay up high on the revs if you just floor it, have to be extremely modular with you foot where as in manual mode you have more control over the rev range.. they tend to spawl up out the blue and loose abit of traction higher up in the band if your on and off the pedal

Goes to show how badass that merc really is imho. That Mini is no joke!!! There are no losers here.

That Mini has the aerodynamics of a barn door, which probably doesn't help. Epic build though!

Great to see both drivers enjoying the races and appreciating the mini.

Man the mini held up well indeed! long time viewer suggestion, with the leader boards if they dont make the top 10/15 can you still show what it came against all previous runs/cars? would need a spreadsheet but if youve kept the data that would be awesome to see where the lower powered cars came overall, since top 10 is dominated by the big bois mostly 1000hp plus, we dont get to see how they compared with similar cars from previous episodes unless we remember what times they got. it would just be so cool to see how some of these lower hp cars compare to one another against all previous data and not just the one they are versing in the battle.

There’s no one stat you can use to compare cars. Power:weight is a good start point but by no means conclusive.

Who doesn’t like a fast Merc but for me that Mini wins hands down,Superb 👍😉💪

I would love to see an all wheel drive build on one of those minis
