What if the fight is like on the 27th, right after Christmas? You'd have a whole year to recover.

And that's how you bust a guy up. The body shots took his legs out quickly. Much smarter way of fighting instead of headhunting for a KO.

Lewis has much better defense strategy than Tubbs. Lewis for a big man was very hard to hit.

It's hard to believe that this is the same Nate Tubbs that destroyed future WBO heavyweight champion, Corrie Sanders, in South Africa four years earlier. Tubbs had a lot of potential to go far as a heavyweight, but he did not like to train hard for fights and earnt most of his money as a sparring partner, rather than inside the ring. In short, he was a waste of talent. Tua, on the other hand, had an excellent career but for some reason he was never able to win even just one version (i.e. one belt) of the heavyweight title. That will always be a mystery to me. 🥊

I agree on Ruiz and Wilder. I disagree on fury. And i can't stand fury but he is simply too tall for Tua. All he has to do is keep his left half extended and jab from there. He'd beat Tua without the need for the right hand.

Tubbs was out of shape and found a soft spot on the canvas to lay down.

Dude gave up when he felt the first power shot

So Nate Tubbs of Lard just gave up. He had so much potential but at this point he had no more interest in boxing. Dude had so much potential but just lazy.

Tua knocked a few pounds off of Tubbs’ jiggle belly.

I think Tubbs got worn down by body shots.
