The framework of a deal is in place for the Angelos family to sell the Baltimore Orioles to a local ownership group, one with deep pockets. The Orioles released a statement late Wednesday afternoon confirming an agreement to sell control stake in the team to Baltimore native, philanthropist and investor David Rubenstein for $1.725 billion.
