David Proval: In the Spotlight

He is currently celebrating 50 years in both TV and films. It all began in 1973, when he was cast as Tony DeVienazo in the crime film “ Mean streets “ he never looked back. His credits include The Shawshank Redemption, The Phantom, Mob Queen, Four Rooms, UHF, Innocent Blood, The Siege, The Monster Squad, Bookies, and Balls of Fury, as well as cameos in The Brady Bunch Movie, and Smokin' Aces, and has had recurring roles in television shows such as Picket Fences, Boomtown and Everybody Loves Raymond.
However, it was a memorable role to open the new millennium that would take his career to a whole new level, when he was cast as wise guy “ Richie Aprile” on the HBO his series “ the sopranos “ his one season that show was very impactful, establishing himself as one of the key actors in the success of that iconic series.
Tonight we pay tribute to a wonderful career, that has stood the test of time. He has been a consistent contributor to the industry, cementing his place as one of the most invaluable and accomplished actors.
