    I remember when Johnty Skinner set the WR @49.99. The biggest change in swimming is the underwater starts and turns and how deep the pools are. Olympic pools were 4-6’ and we popped up with no underwater kicking.

    Yeah, swimming has really evolved. David was going faster than that WR at 14 years old!
