I remember this video used to start with David talking about how his sister had gotten him into singing as he watches and listens to her practicing..

I am a Christian and Liverpool FC fan. And I just discovered David Phelps today. Literally, I am besides myself with all the amazing that is happening right now! God in glory placing His amazing divine nature all over the place! Beautiful!

David Phelps is the best ever tenor that I’ve ever heard. His family is talented also. God bless you David.

I love the way David sings that note at the end where he starts in his head voice and ends up in his chest voice! Also, I love the beauty of the harmony between him and Sherri. Their voices blend so beautifully! Some day their family will be back together again in heaven!

The entire crescendo was in chest. Light chest to loud and heavier chest.

I’m 85 now. This was my favorite song as a teen.. I was surprised to hear it sung so beautifully by David. Thanks for my walk down memory lane. Pauline

His sister was so pretty. They both sing this song together with so much hope. Death has lost it's sting with the hope of life ever-after with our Lord and Savior. Now Sherri is singing in heaven...never to be sick, or cry, or worry, or have any cares again. Only joy!

This must be one of the most beautiful declaration of love made to a dying sister "You'll Never Walk Alone". The performance is amazing and the message echoes beyond this world.

So many people wish they could sing like he does. He has talent that , to me, only God can give to someone special. I tried but not much good. Blessing and talent only come to who God has chosen. The others have other talents to give. David ...you could be told how much peace you give people with your songs of God...but you are one of the ones God chose to do it. God bless you. Thank you.

I have never heard this powerful anthem sung with greater beauty than David has done. When David sings it is as though the world stands still. This gifted man of God has amazing power and can lift us up to the heights where we can experience the presence of the Spirit. My favorite song by him is "O HOLY NIGHT" but this comes a close second. Two of David's songs that are phenomenal in your time of loss is 1. Heaven's Shore (live) and 2. That Sounds Like Home To Me. Chills and goosebumps. I have several of his C D'S and I can listen to him all day and night. In fact sometimes I cannot go to sleep for listening to his God given voice. His whole life has been dedicated to God, family and voice. I pray for Mr Phelps that God would Bless him and his family and keep them safe from Satan's snares. He has a wonderful testimony!

The control he has with his voice AMAZES me!! His voice is like no other!

AMAZING SIMPLY AMAZING. David can sing in 3 octaves and hold a note longer than anyone I have heard. What a voice and sends such a powerful message through his music. God has truly blessed you David and also has blessed us for having ears to hear your voice.

That's an international melody and it sounds really good. Praise the Lord!

That was our graduation song from Wilson Junior High in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was very emotional. IT continues to be one of my all-time favorites! Way to go David Phelps.

Still remember when I watched this on TV and I literally gasped at the ending when he seamlessly goes from sustained head voice to chest voice in that crescendo on his last note. His control is amazing

I am in tears as I write this. The word of God says, "eye has not seen, ear has not heard , nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him"...In heaven the GLORY of God will be so overwhelming, music will have a WHOLE different atmosphere and sound. Honoured to be a worshipper, I am looking forward to worshipping with David, and even you jedi 76 in eternity. I can't wait either!! Blessings to remain faithful to Him who called you !

There is no more an annointed voice than that of one David Phelphs.

There is rejoicing in heaven when David Phelps sings. There is a river that flows from deep within David. Thank the Lord of the Harvest for giving us David. Be blessed.

This guy is immensely talented. I was blown away with hIs voice and what a voice it is.

Beautifully sung. This man has an exceptional voice. Best I have ever heard. I look for all his songs to listen. His sister also has a beautiful voice. She was a beautiful woman too. ❤

This song will always tug at my heart every time I hear it bcuz it was just a couple of weeks after this concert that his sister, Sherry (sitting down) passed away with cancer❣️😭

Through this song, we can really feel the Majesty and the Greatness of God! It encourage us for the everyday life :) Thanks God for David Phelps, his family and everyone ! :D

I'm so thankful and glad that I will never walk alone. Thank you Jesus for never leaving me and thank you David Phelps for singing this song so beautifully. I wanted to tell anyone reading this something really important. One day we are all going to stand before God. If you have ever lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain (omg) which is called blasphemy , hated someone (which God consideres murder) or done other things that are against His law ( the Ten Commandments), He sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, murderer. He will judge us, and because we have all broken His law, we ALL deserve hell. But because He loves us, He became a human about two thousand years ago, lived without sinning, and died a terrible death He didn’t deserve because of us. Three days later He rose from the dead and one day He is coming back. We all deserve the ultimate punishment (hell). But God loves us so much that He took the punishment on Himself. We broke Gods law, Jesus paid the fine. If you repent from your sins ( sincerely apologize for breaking His law and turn away from doing it anymore) and trust in Him and Him only, your punishment will be paid for, you will get eternal life in heaven, and you will no longer go to hell. I’m not telling you this to judge you. The thought of you going to hell terrifies me. I don’t want anyone to go without hearing this wonderful news. Thank you whoever took the time to read this. David Phelps is without a doubt one of the best vocalist on the planet. The control this man has over his voice is truly amazing. God given talent that brings me to tears.

This song gives me strength and hope. The message is powerful, the musical arrangement is perfect, but mostly the feeling and emotions of your approach vocally are what seperates you. Thank You!!!
