I wouldn't. He's an annoying pratt sometimes. Needs a good slapping. Lee threatened to punch him on the nose (half joking?) after one of his annoying rants.

I love the outrage over the lack of a hat, and David's follow up outrage about the jeans.

David’s hilarious nitpicking lol. I could listen to Alex for hours, love her recital of the funeral story on Chris & Rosie’s show 😂

I love David's angry logic... This show has got it right.. Lee's half intelligent humour against David's intellectual logic... It works brilliantly

That is hilarious. David Mitchell is a comedic gold.

Mel's always brill on this show. Or any show for that matter. She's just brill in general.

The incredibly poor delivery of the story probably triggered David’s spidey senses. Just a little too far.

You see, this is a show called “Would I Lie To You?”. A large part of it is that a good player will tell untrue stories in a very believable manner, or (and this is the part relevant to your observation) to tell true stories in a very unbelievable manner.

Or.. sometimes they do the double bluff! When they tell the story in a manner that suggests they don’t want to be believed , thinking the opposite team will then think it’s true, when in fact it is a lie. I think that’s what I mean lol
