the fucked up thing about boxing these days, is a guy like Mayweather, who with all due respect to his abilities, fights every battle with every odd in his favor against outclassed opponents and doesnt even get himself a knockout, and will always get more credit even though this guy steps up even to the guys who are known to be the next Mike Tyson, etc. when theyre expected to beat him. The new generation has a really weird attitude where instead of virtue and courage and just having balls and being a man is what mattered, instead they think getting money even when you lose your values, act like a cheat and a coward, and just become a big scumbag is all that matters. It's pretty fucked because guys with those attitudes are the ones butt fucking all us real people and laughing and they think theyre some kind of role model. Kinda weird when these same people will be mad at wall street officials and politicians who are doing the same thing, stepping on good people, cheating and stealing relying on corrupt officials just to get ahead

Rosado is a a great dude. I met him in Atlantic City at the Kovalev/Bhop fight. He was standing up top by himself just greeting people and saying hi and everything. Humble and cool guy. I like him alot.

He easily could've been the best middleweight in history. If he had the correct training and passion, he could've blasted out triple g easily. Just didn't have the mentality or discipline of a true elite boxer.

@Gabriel I'm saying Lemieux doesn't take boxing that seriously and he's not very skillful. But, If that were different, he definitely could have had a great chance beating triple g and been in the top 5 middleweights of all time discussion. 1, He has incredible natural punching power. He's definitely one of the hardest pound for pound hitters of all time if it means having punching power much higher then the average fighter in your weight class. 2, his punching speed is pretty good, especially for a power puncher. Not saying he's Sugar Ray or Amir Khan obviously, but It's definitely above average. 3, he has very good stamina. Being able to throw hard punches constantly up to the 10th round is astonishing. He's wasted potential. But we'll see if he'll cause an upset may 21st against Benavidez. I hope he makes the fight entertaining and doesn't get blown away quickly if he does lose.

This canadian remember's the Iron Mike style. Body and head , big left hook and pressure all night long ! This guy is insane and punch hards ! I'm very anxious to see him against Triple G next weekend !

This ref is always top notch. 16:20 you can tell from his style that he got his start refing street fights - leveling into a crouching stance, big grin on his face and with constant approving head nods, urging the two fighters to give a good account of their skills. Love it.

lemieux is a entertaining fighter plus knockout artist despite his loses he gives you action each time a true warrior

This fight should be watched by any beginner. As a preliminary comment, I'm really here only focusing on this very fight, not comparing with GGG or any other performance. I think there are three main points that are very obvious in this bout and that are very relevant to any beginner: 1) Your jab: use your jab, no matter how "poor" it is (in reference to other comments). I've heard many coaches saying that if you don't use your jab, you can't win a fight. It is the primary fundamental tool of any boxer. Lemieux uses his a lot at the beginning, and he is fast, so he pops out and get close enough to Rosado to punch him, despite the difference in reach between the two. Even if he has not the most powerful jab of the circuit, at least he uses it, whereas Rosado does not at all, so can't set up any attack or counter or even keep him at a distance. 2) Your defense: keep your hands up! At least if you're fighting someone faster than you. I don't get why Rosado keeps fighting low guard, especially after being hit in the left eye many times. This poor guard on top of the lack of jab just annihilates his size and reach advantages. Plus, if Rosado dodges fine, he keeps moving backward in a linear fashion, and he never really escapes. See the difference of landed punches, almost 50.... 3) Conserve you energy: Lemieux is very aggressive in the 4th or 5th round, which is logical as he is clearly dominating, although only punching hard and not being very strategic. In the next round he is toast and Rosado hit him hard a few times, and I think he could have even taken more advantage of it. Try to go hard on the bag for 3 minutes...and think that you have to go for 4-5 more rounds. Lemieux recovered, but I think it mainly because Rosado was not able to really take advantage of that. Many people have commented saying that Rosado remain their man, he is brave, blablabla, and that Lemieux is bad, just dumbly punch, and blablabla. But here, besides those 3 points above, Rosado shown overall poor boxing skills for this level, with his attacks having almost no angles nor timing. You don't win a fight on courage...

Rosado is an absolute warrior. Great win for Lemeiux, he’s a monster but I love Rosado’s heart. If he didn’t have the soft skin problem he would have had a much more successful career. He does well sometimes against superior opponents. He was doing well against Quillen and Jacobs when he was a huge underdog!

I wonder what that commentator was doing instead of watching the fight. David Lemieux doesn't throw the jab and Rosado does he sais whilest lumineux used piercing , double jabs and power jabs al the fight to deliver his power shots and Rosado being the bigger fighter did not jab to stop him from getting in. It's crazy they brought their 3 or 4 year old children to the fight , you could see it in the eyes of Lemieux son , omg what is al this , what is daddy doing and when his wife jumps up and screams victory he drops besides his chair , pure gold.

I may be wrong but I think the constant swelling of the left eye is due to him dropping his left hand. And he doesnt use the shoulder roll technique so dropping the left leaves him a bit susceptible to right hand straights.

David Lemieux still has a good future lots of heart. Big puncher and young dude but Golovkin is on a different level. Golovkin utilized his jab alone to stop Lemieux in his tracks before breaking him down. Golovkin is no joke.
