That's all fine and dandy until you can't sing anymore! He was never a great singer but he made up for it well in stage presence and at least carried the tune. He's none of that now and it's quite SAD.

DLR is Peter Pan. No responsibilities, infinite resources. He has proven himself one-hundredfold as an entertainer and has lived with top-tier success since his very early twenties. A rare human being.

Dave is entertaining.When I was a teen I could've listened to him all day.Now I can only digest 5 minute increments.He seems like he has a passion for life.I admire that in him.I hope to recapture some of that myself.Go Dave!

Dave had a good run from about 1975 to 1990, he was the man. Entertaining, intelligent, world traveler and as he put it sold smiles for a living, as the face of rock and roll. Nobody could touch Van Halen in the early days. But he made a deal with the Devil, he had the voice, the looks, the women and the money. Three of the four have gone now for over 25 years, no voice, no hair or looks, women are gone but still has money, Jews save that cash. Nothing is better than those old Van Halen records.

Dave was the best frontman to ever grace a stage. Still sparkles like a Diamond, after all these years.

Even that I heard he didn't do a good great concert but at the same time David Lee Roth band Van Halen for many years so he always have a positive attitude like about him every time he's in front of the camera he's always positive just like the rest of the Van Halen group and very positive and I love them about that God bless David Lee Roth

Just my opinion but seems like Diamond Dave always wanted to be a Pop star - the male Madonna. People can rag on Sammy Hagar but Sammy is all about Rock n' Roll not pop. Sammy can sing the Roth era tunes and the Hagar era tunes not sure Dave could sing Sammy's stuff - Sammy has much more range - and the Van Hagar tunes were damned good tunes as were Diamond Dave's. I don't understand the hating on Sammy as he saved VH - anyone remember what happened to VH with Gary Cherone? Having said all that I'll pay to see Van Halen whether its Sammy or Dave fronting the band but would never pay too see VH if Gary Cherone is lead singing - UGH!
