we were lucky enough to have attended the New York debut at Alice Tully Hall sitting center of balcony B about 5 seats to George Crumb's left. We were 21 at the time and blown away. Unfortunately two or three people walked out. Huge fans of the Webern String Quartets. We saw (heard) them preformed by the Quartetto Italiano. They played each quartet twice due to the brevity.

Why does he ignore the background noise and speak so weakly or far from the mike!
"After hearing Black Angels life made sense", well, I can tell you that after hearing that comment my life means less sense.
