Yeah very unique. Best players are always the ones that play to their style. It’s obvious. Every star footballer has a distinct look on the pitch. All the average and mediocre players look like robots on the field. Meaning you can’t tell them apart.

free land - I'm a Spurs fan. He won writers player of year and player's player of the year the season United did the treble - That shows how great he was. He had the chance to go to Barcelona when he was at Spurs, but Spurs didn't want him to leave and Ginola didn't push for the move. Gerrard Houlier thru Ginola under the bus when France failed to reach the 94 WC. Gerrard blamed Ginola for giving because he over hit a cross against Bulgaria deep in Bulgaria's half. Houllier was a complete cunt and wrong for ruining Ginola's international career.

@@acab020186 teams with deep pockets have always existed, the only difference in 1988 AC Milan could've bought 10 world class non Italian players and it would've been pointless, because only 3 of them could be on the field at the same time. Because of that they didn't even bother and stuck with Gullit,Rijkaard & Van Basten. Im sure the Milan board thought the brazilian Careca was a better footballer than Daniele Massaro, but why bother purchasing him if it meant him, or one of the 3 Dutch guys would be on the bench every week.

Messi, ozil and pogba are the only few players that have artistic way of playing football in this era. C.ronaldo is one of the greats but he is very mechanical, not graceful. Football back then was more flair.
