@@italeki Streisand had the better instrument and was much more versatile and successful than Celine and Whitney. Celine has more style than Whitney and more true emotion. She also hit more impressive notes. I think Mariah is much better than Whitney for those reasons. Houston was a player piano. She hit all the notes in the studio. When she was live, she didn't sing, she "preached" making a 3 minute song into a 5 minute song because she paused after ever two to three notes to do some fake preachy sounding rifts.

If Celine would be honest about her illness, you wouldn't see these comments. But the reason she hides her illness, is because there is still such a huge stigma around it. I recently spoke to a woman who said said she'd rather Celine have cancer than an eating disorder. THAT is how much our society stigmatizes ED. Fact is, she does look terrible. The looks like she's dying.

And yea, why not come out and say it? Make it REAL, as it is real for thousands of women. Myself included. Hiding it just makes it all the more stigmatized. So many women in hollywood/entertainment are struggling with this and its become this dirty little secret. Ohh, cant talk about it! Why not? Its a disease! I guarantee you, if she had cancer, she'd come out with it. But because its ED, she hides. It's not ok. Angelina Jolie is the same. everyone knows she's struggling, but she wont talk about it. meanwhile, she looks like a walking skeleton. So yes, talk about it. Talk about how losing the love of your life and father of your children impacts your health.

Just like "Immortality Live 2017 at Grammy tribute to The Bee Gees" I love the live 2008-2012 version of "All By Myself" more than the original from the CD. I can feel her emotions through that version. Her voice is deeper than the original, but it's still really good.
