I admit it. I am a bit addicted to this man. He inspires me so much. His voice is beautiful, warm, full of sadness and hope. Listen to "Aeolian harp (Underworld)" with headphones on...you will understand. Thank you thank you thank you for uploading this treasure 🙏🏻

"full of sadness and hope"... I guess I struggled to put it into words for a while now but this is it! A brilliant description of the way he "hums" his prayer...

Blown away by this rare find! Timestamps are the following: 00:00:53 Black Soul Choir/Phyllis Ann (16 HP) 00:06:22 Blue Pail Fever (WH) 00:12:10 Golden Rope (16 HP) 00:17:03 My Russia (WH) 00:22:15 Straw Foot (16 HP) Especially excited about the songs Golden Rope and My Russia. Haven't found a good acoustic version of those two until now!

Many years ago I read a concert review about a band I didn't know at that time. A photo shows a skinny man on a chair, full of sweat, holding a bandoneon, screaming... and I thought, someone who is looking like that, MUST make interesting music. That's how I discovered 16 HP. Since then I saw them and Wovenhand round about 15 times, and these have been always extraordinary experiences.

Nice, my friend had a Columbia house catalog so we threw darts at it. One landed on sackcloth and ashes. We were blown away when it arrives

some of the lyrics seem to be from "Sparrow Falls", so maybe it's just an early draft of that one. i don't think i've heard this anywhere else though!
