To be fair the guests are asked before the show how they would like to be greeted. The me too and cancel culture put those prescriptions in place.

Wow, really? This is great insider information. I can't wait to get famous so I can demand the host greets me in a black lace negligee'. Mm, just thinking about that garter belt and the net stockings.@@ianleslie6971

Imagine thinking that asking people (sometimes strangers!) how they like to be greeted is because of "cancel culture." @@ianleslie6971

I love David Duchovny. He's so funny, and he seems like a great soul. I grew up watching X-Files with my parents. I'm 37 now, you do the math. Long time fan.

No lie here, I walked right into the middle of a scene by mistake and tried to get out of the way. I stood next to this guy and said to him (David), hey that’s Meg Ryan and he answered and I said, oh sorry and he looked at me and smiled and said no worries man. The way they had the walkway set up I walked on the wrong side and right into the scene. He was actually a really nice guy.

Davids halloween jacking story stirred an old memory lol. Very much the hocus pocus movie vibes. My little brother was like 9 and i was 12 or 13. So of course i had to take him with me trick or treating. Im walking down the street of our tiny farm town talking with friends when my brother comes running up to me crying that his candy was stolen. So i asked who and where they were. I walk over ready to get into it to see a friends older(16ish) brother holding my brother's pumpkin bucket. So i walk up to him and yell "ADAM!?! Youd better hand thay bag over cuz its my brother's! Dont make me call your mom dude!" Since his little sister and i were friends he knew me well enough and knew i had his number. He whined a bit and handed it to me. I said something like dont be an ass adam and mess w kids. Go tp a house or something. Too funny! 😂😂

7 or 8 pages for a single scene?!? [mind blown]. 8 pages is a typical full day of filming for those that don't know. Holy crapola. 17+ yrs on crew, and I've only ever seen a single scene max out around 4 pages, once. CSB: Worked a couple times on the first season of Californication with him. Was chatting with show creator Tom Kapinos during lunch about his personal Gibson double-cut L.P. that he'd brought in as an option for the daughter character to maybe use for a scene [it wasn't in the end] and Tom let me take his seat and strum on the guitar [unplugged, so rather quiet]. Tom and the scripty were sitting a few feet away when Duchovny walks in towards them asking Tom a question, but mid-stride, he notices me strumming [quietly] and deadpans: "Would you keep it down?" and continues with his question while the rest of us bust up laughing. /CSB

If the production company is already meeting SAG-AFTRA's proposed terms they can apply for a waiver. Some of the bigger independent companies like Neon and A24 have waivers so there will still be quite a few actors promoting stuff
