I asked for a Meg Ryan cut at the time When Harry Met Sally came out and I still have a version of that cut today-never looked back. It’s so classic…

Kate and Leopold should be mentioned here, because her wardrobe was integral to the character's archetype. Her masculine-inspired style looked amazing and was actually referenced in the film by another character who "complimented" her by saying "I like you. You're not like other women." She then asks, intrigued "I'm not?"... "No, you don't do pretty." Her reaction to the bizarre compliment "I don't?" is so amusing xD

She was the queen of the rom-com in the 90’s. She was also great in The Doors, IQ, When a Man Loves a Woman, City of Angels and Hanging Up. She has an incredible screen presence.

When a Man Loves a Women was such a tough one for me (heart-wrenching) but I sure didn’t mind getting an eye-full of Andy Garcia ;-) ;-). One of my all time faves is Sleepless, so how could I not think of it each time I’ve gone up to the top of the Empire State Building? Also loved French Kiss…which had some hilarious scenes.

Yeah, and she was also great in Courage under Fire, a really unexpected genre for her.

Her hair is iconic next to Rachel Green and Julia Roberts but Meg Ryan is such a smart, self-aware and humble person which makes me just love her all these decades (yes, I'm old). Will watch the film ASAP and wish to see more of her films. Thanks for this Glamor!

I LOVED her outfits in You've Got Mail. Definitely timeless. I'm surprised they didn't include "The Women." She's a fashion designer in it and most of her outfits are highly stylized.

I love Meg Ryan! When Harry Met Sally…, Sleepless in Seattle, and You’ve Got Mail are all such comforting films/rom-coms. I also remember watching the animated Anastasia movie with her. I cant wait to watch What Happens Later! I’m so glad she’s back. I hear she’s working on a Netflix movie!

I loved a lot of her short, choppy hairstyles. They really suited her. Always liked Meg Ryan.

Sat next to her and John Mellencamp at a Broadway show in NY back in 2019. At one point something dramatic happened in the Show and she grabbed my arm. She was so sweet. During intermission she apologized. I said “no worries” have at it.

She's done soooo much more!!! I want her to talk about them all.

I had her short haircut in the late '90, I simply adored her, the way she walked, and talked, how she was totally non-vulgar but incredibly appealing. Great era for movie characters looks. Before the plastic hit the fan.

There was a time when one couldn't imagine a romcom without her. I have never watched an interview with Meg in my life although I must have watched almost all of her movies including the non romcom ones. She is such an incredible actress. I decided to google her out of the blue this morning and voila, thank you Glamour.

Can we please talk about the Meg Ryan strut? It's endearing, filled with self confidence and 100% Meg 💃🏼

When Harry Met Sally and French Kiss are two of my favorite movies. I was friends with this boy I met at university. He came in town and my sister told me to take him to When Harry Met Sally. We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary this past June. French Kiss as always been a favorite…and we now live in SW France! Her dress in that movie is gorgeous

Meg Ryan should have had an Oscar nomination for Harry Met Sally. Imagine ANYONE else in that role- they would have been hateful and I will die on that hill...😤

I remember growing up and watching all of her movies and thinking, " wow this is the most beautiful woman i have ever seen" she just always had this very relaxed, classy and natural aura about her and still does. Her and Jennifer Connelly, mesmerised by them growing up.

I've always loved Meg and I LOVED in the cut, she was amazing in it, very underrated film. So happy she's back. We are all rooting for you Meg ❤

You've got mail my absolute favorite! I love Meg so much in 80s Rom- coms. Her reactions are everything in that movie. Her clothes contributed to characters but her annimated face and reactions to the goofy male costars are perfection and so endearing.

I love that her voice is the same❤️ and even though we age on the outside, our souls stay youthful and so very very alive, growing with depth and intelligence as we age. I think Meg embodies that.

That's why I bought it on eBay for $6.00! In fact, I've been replenishing all of my favorite movies on DVD because I got so tired of looking up movies on Prime and constantly reading, "This video is currently unavailable"... 🤨
