Sent this to my husband, and he looked up on Google something sus. The company that owns the excevator isn't like a wrecking company or anything. Its an apparel brand. So either they used that logo on the machine, or the company itself borrowed an excevator, which seems unlikely. So its most likely will not help Dobriks case anymore than he already does.

If Jeff wins, it sets a really great legal precedent for content creators. Just because you film KZread videos doesn’t mean you can neglect the people who work with/for you. I hope precedents like these lead to more protection for children being exploited by family channels.

There is a legal case here, David was their boss and it is his responsibility to provide adequate medical staff for stunts like this. It is obvious that David did not receive training because if he had, the he would’ve known about the automatic kill switch that goes off when the arm is spinning fast / out of control like it was.

I think Jeff is in the right. A daily constant reminder of a tragic incident that he forever has to live all due to David thinking risking a friend's safety for views, is enough to make anyone get upset. The way David has low-key brushed it off and treated it like it isn't a big deal...Jeff deserves to get that lawsuit in his favor

David deserves to get sued, he was careless. Jeff is the one who suffered severely and was even gracious enough to keep it at just medical bills for the longest time.

The thing is that even though Jeff chose to get on the excavator. David was controlling it, he rented it, he drove it into the lake. Most of which im sure is not legal. On top of that had Jeff died, David would be locked up for manslaughter.

$10 million sounds reasonable to me. The medical costs, the emotional harm, the loss to his career and earnings. This wasn't a couple of stitches and that's it, this is years of treatment that a healthy young man doesn't normally have.
